I only managed 6 yards offense...on Pro (Bills Franchise)

At least my defense is holding the Panthers to two field goals. But I need some real help if this is the best I can do on the pro level on offense. 3 runs for 4 yards and 1/6 for 2 yards is not going to win you any games.

And I know you're going to say "just go on the tutorial and do it until it's automatic." But repeating the same tutorial 15, 20, 30 times...that's just not fun at all.

By the way, the 6 yards is from 1 quarter of play.

Man... You are not doing something right here. The turbo thing holds true for running so don’t hit it til you hit the hole. And when you do the tutorials are you reading the instructions then trying to incorporate those plays based on the coverages given?

I didn't do the tutorials this year. I've done them in 17 and 18, but never got around to actual gameplay afterwards for some reason. This year, I just skipped the tutorials and went right into gameplay.

And while I'm still a failure at running, I did manage better play with passing in the second quarter and scored a TD. Of course, it's also a preseason game, so it's against second string defenders. But I'll take any improvement I can get.

I'm seeing a number of people report Pro has gotten way too tough compared to before. While I hope the game itself isn't nerfed as AM plays really nice with some sliders currently... difficulty levels exist for a reason. Pro should be fun & challenging for a good bulk of more casual but experienced players. They shouldn't have to dial down to Rookie to enjoy the game.

Oh, boy...I don't remember my first Madden, but the oldest one I still own is 08. But I know I started before then, since I know I owned 05.

But that was when I was unemployed, so I had a lot of time and not much money. So one of the things I bought often back them was old Madden titles. After I started working full time about 5 years ago, Madden was kind of pushed aside and wasn't played all that much, due to lack of time.

I had 17 and 18, but I only remember the one game I actually sat down to play in 18 was a Play the Moment game, with a completely different team. This is probably the first time in a while that I played a full game.

If I had to guess, probably Madden 15 or 16 was the last time I played a full game. I remember doing a Play Now between the Cowboys and the Texans at US Bank Stadium.

Pop it in practice mode on Random Play for a half hour or so - you can probably run 100 plays in that time. It will give you a better feel for it.
