Anyone remember L1 + R1 to quickly bring up the replay? (PS2)

Not sure if it was widely-known back then, but it is something I miss. On the PS2 Madden games, after a play, you could press L1+R1 bumper buttons and it would take you into the replay. Saved a bunch of time in having to go through the start menu just to look back at a play.

This stopped working once Madden hit Xbox 360, and it's never made it back.

This isn't a major feature or anything, so I don't expect there to be a bunch of community noise to bring it back, but I'm hoping and wondering if it is easy to get into Madden 18 / 19.

I remember it and miss it terribly.

As a matter of fact with each new release I always check to see if it made a return.

Me, i tested it this season as well. Wish that would come back, id watch a lot more replays that way.
