* Which gaming monitor should I buy for PS4 gaming?

I have recently been researching gaming monitors and looking to buy one soon just for PS4 gaming. I heard having a gaming monitor helps be more competitive having less input lag and response rates. I am looking to spend less than $180 and would like to have low input lag and response time. I play mostly mlb the show and madden and sometimes a call of Duty. So what are your suggestions to what i should look to buy for the less than $180?

What monitor do you have and why? Or what are your suggestions for my budget and wants? Should I go TN or IPS panel? I have been looking between Asus and BenQ brands, but open to others if they a great option. Any input is appreciated!

I have this Asus monitor:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-24-...?skuId=8767099

I switched to the monitor from my 60" samsung and wouldn't go back. I primarily play Madden, 2k, the show, Star Wars Battlefront, and F1.

No reason to get a 144hz monitor if your playing on a console since they can only do 60hz (barely) just get any 1ms response rate monitor from Acer,BenQ or ASUS

I have this monitor for my gaming PC: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-GN246HL-...=operasport-20

I like it a lot, the specs are:
Viewable Area: 24"
Refresh Rate: 144Hz
Response Time: 1ms
1920x1080

Not below $180 but close to your limit at $189. I've had it for a little more than a year now and it still works great, of course this is on a gaming PC which has higher specs than a console but everything looks beautiful. Like someone else said, consoles can only do 60Hz so you'd probably be wasting money on a 144Hz monitor.

I first had an AOC gaming monitor. Madden looked great on it. It has low input lag and the screen made everything pop. I upgraded to a LG 28" 4k monitor with the PS4 pro and it is amazing . The AOC is around 175$ and the 4k monitor is around 400$

Is here a version similar with only 60hz and in my price range ? Could you suggest one below $180? Thanks for your help

Re: * Which gaming monitor should I buy for PS4 gaming?

For all who posted, mostly everyone posted a model above my $180 range, so could you tell me of the model similar or maybe the model below yours that would is $180 or less and the Best Buy for the money? This is for console gaming only so would only need 60hz, so if you could post a 60hz monitor that's $180 or less that would be Best Buy under $180 I would really appreciate the extra help!
