Ever start a test franchise/cfm...

and then get stuck in it and not be able to create the franchise you were planning?

I started a Miami head coach cfm, basically simmed the entire first season to see how scouting was going, and consequently had an awful record from not playing the games. Got fired. Was hired by the Titans and since then I've had some of the best times in recent Madden history. Serious position battles, injuries influencing key games and playoffs, the best and worst of resignings, and some really interesting draft picks.

I just realized I'm now a few seasons in and am having a blast, Ea did a great job this year IMO. Any similar stories?

kinda. most years, i run a two to six year experiment CFM before going back to re-start.

I'm in year six now and am having fun but i'm still gonna go back when the next patch comes out as i've found drafting way too easy and am looking forward to the lower quality draft classes.
