This is one of my favorite threads each year. I'm going to be starting my franchise this afternoon and didn't see anyone make the thread yet so here it is. Can't wait to hear about everyone's franchises!

Thinking about participating in this thread this year, do only "normal" franchises count? I usually do 3-5 real franchises trying to keep things realistic but I also like to do franchises like doing a team comprised entirely of rookies, not always the best rookies though as I still have a reason to draft.

just started up my Eagles franchise!

-created a new coach
-traded away bradford for a 7th round pick (I want to start Wentz)
-with more cap space without bradford i signed ben grubbs FA G to start
- cut WR rueben randle among others
- added some guys to my practice squad including 70 OVR rookie who was poached by the Chargers immediately (woops)
- focused my weekly training during preseason on LBs/DBs and WRs/QB. i feel my teams biggest weakness is CBs and WRs
- my 3 focus players are Wentz, Jordan Mathews, and Jordan Hicks
- simmed preseason games
- set my season goal to 8 wins which i think is reasonable
- went with cody parkey over caleb sturgis for kicker

first game of season vs Browns i cant lose this one

Started with my Broncos. 2-3 so far, which is about what I expect us to do through 5 games this year I'd say realistically. Went right away with Lynch. No was Sanchez get's anywhere near the starting QB for me. Annoying that Von isn't signed yet in the most recent roster, but that's ok cause you can edit contracts now so I did that (tho the game still wants me to negotiate and resign him, even tho I set his real life contract via edit more.)

I think I'll let Emmanuel Sanders walk. Doesn't make sense to have two high caliber wr's with Vons contract. I'll focus on WR, TE, OL in the draft mostly.

Started my yearly fantasy draft cfm with my dad and had the 26 pick and took Gronk, Wentz, AP, Waddle Keanu Neal, Cox, Michael Bennet, Robert Mathis, Trevathen, and most importantly......Braxton Miller. (Gonna make him my backup qb, Tavon Austin player)
