The CPU wont "abandon" the run game??

I'm currently playing a game where Im up by 21 in the 4th quarter. The computer is just constantly running the ball. And to top it off, I injured their starting RB...so they have their backup in, who isnt that good even!

Is it a glitch? Just weird programing? A setting I can change?

I mean. If you're up 21 in the 4th you can only lose if you f up, so I don't see a problem lol.

I agree that they should abandon the run game but if you are up by 21 every game there is a bigger problem. Time to turn up the difficulty or make some slider changes. I'm just happy the CPU can actually run the ball a bit.

Why would they abandon the run if they are getting shelled?down large in the 4th means you run the ball and start preparing for next week.

That actually doesn't seem to be too much of a problem. My problem is how if I can stuff the RB in the 1st quarter, they wont ever run it again. I've held the computer to single digit running numbers in multiple games (occasionally even negative). About 3/5 of the games, the computer won't break 30 rushing yards. Granted, I usually carry an extra guy in the box (My base defense is Cover 3 sky) and I usercontrol my DT. But, I expect them to at least try to run the ball in the 2nd half, but they dont usually.
