Need help on D with slants and the rolling out QB passer.

Can somebody please tell me how to Defend slants and stopping the cheese players online who only roll out and pass upfield or run with Cam Newton. I'm getting murdered online.

Positioning your corners to play inside man coverage helps with slants. It will leave you more susceptible to quick outs, however.

Never seen this work, slants are designed to beat man however. Cover 2 sink, show press will shut slants down. But you give up the flats.

To contain mobile QBs, blitz, use DE/OLB contains, along with QB spies all within the same play.

Finally along with the above join a SIM CFM.
