Its marketing and it only matters if you get fooled by the marketing. People act like Madden is the first game to eliminate a feature and attempt to market it as a new feature when they bring it back. Sony and 2k have done the same thing in recent years.

Okay.. so they don't wanna buy cbs. Why not put an NFL Network logo on the top? instead of a big EA sports logo that ruins the immersion. Nantz and simms did broadcasting through nfl network this past year with the CBS/NFL Network partnership.

Thats clear bias. I play 2k daily. The pre game show has Ernie Johnson saying "Welcome to the NBA on 2k sports". They have commercials when playing season mode that promote upcoming games on 2k Sports. The replay wipes say 2k sports. The scoreboard says 2k sports. They arent more sly.

None of us are privy to the NFL network/CBS deal so we have no idea if they extend to video games. I would assume that they dont but none of know if thats an option.

then I guess it just comes down to my opinion. And my opinion is that it is far less annoying in 2k than in madden. Partly because 2k is a much more complete gameplay and presentation experience. Perhaps if madden's broadcast was truly real time with a vast variety of what we see... id be less annoyed by the constant ea sports reminders.

Did you guys add holding penalties on passing plays? Saw that alot in the NFL last year.

I think its just people nitpick Madden more than other games. NBA 2k has actually gone backwards when it comes to presentation over the past few years. 2k practically eliminated its halftime show. Constant bugs as it relates to stat overlays.

Madden has actually taken steps forward. QB cam when QBs are introduced. Halftime show added. Improved replays. More stats. Commercial breaks. They have alot more they could do but its improving.
