You Would Be Disappointed In Madden 16 If....?

I saw someone made a thread in the NHL forums..."You Wouldn't Buy NHL 16 If..." or something of that nature so it gave me an idea to create something similar on here except I twisted it around.

What would be disappointing for you see in Madden 16 if. Here are mines.

1. The engine feels the same as last season.

2. Too much focus on offense and not defense.

3. No fair play features for online play. At least have a lobby for it. I'm sick of playing against people who goes for it on 4th and long on their own 25.

4. Same commentary as last season.

5. No improvements on franchise mode.

6. Lack of tattoos.

I really want two things.

1. Much better play between CBs/WRs in the air for the ball. I don't want a little update to it, I want a big change.

2. This probably won't happen, but i want more differential between players. When I'm playing with Odell Beckham Jr., I feel like I'm just playing with a fast WR. Doesn't feel like any other fast WR. They all feel like generic Create-A-Players.

1. Penalties and working penalty sliders

2. Suspensions. Goodells NFL is full of suspensions now. It needs to be put in regardless how the league views their "integrity".

If AI and animations were not worked on.

Severally disappointed if penalty sliders were not touched and no player differential not being touched.

This is nearly turning into a wishlist again.

A. Tattoos- Players need to get artist authentication.
B. Fines and Suspensions- I doubt that would get past the NFL.

Extremely disappointed if animations & interaction are not vastly improved.

Just as disappointed if the AI is not vastly improved to utilize those animatins, including actual run fit assignments and other basic NFL/football read & react AI.

If the draft classes are all jacked up.
All DBs have dreads
All shoulder pads are werid
All have the same helmet
etc..

If managing your funds/salary cap is still as dysfunctional as it currently is in CFM as a owner. As an accountant seeing ticket sales and stadium improvements affect your ability to sign players for which you have a salary cap (pre approved budget) is disappointing let alone the setbacks it causes as you try to build a team. It is almost as confusing as mlb the shows salary cap. Should be fairly simple. Or at least ability to make it simple and still play as a owner.

Animation quality has not improved. I just don't see it happening as it looks like they're just building off of last gen with slightly better graphics/lighting, rather than starting fresh.

That's my biggest gripe with this game. I thought with the power of these consoles we would see a better product. They were hyping up this true player motion and we still have the same ugly running animations year after year. Still no signature animations aside from the QB throwing which look robotic to be best describe it.

You guys can have your MUT. How about focusing on getting the fundamentals of football down first, before we invest all this time and money in MUT.

Gameplay ALWAYS comes first, but what do I know, I'm not a game developer.


I think more attention to detail is needed with the player models as well. They need to look more like their real life counterparts. Small players seem to have this big head syndrome and it makes them look weird. Then you have 335lb DT who look like they weight 250lbs. Attention to detail, it hasn't been the strong suit of this game for years now.
