Thumbs up Definitive fix to the "loading data" freeze in CFM

Hei all,
Just in case is not common knowledge by now... There's a workaround to avoid the freeze in multiplayer CFM.

Two simple steps:
1) Either play or delegate game prep for the teams involved in the game you want to play
2) ADVANCE WEEK (READY TO ADVANCE) for one of the teams

I think most people have tried with step one, but I don't think I've seen many discussing the second step; I've tried this 50+ games now and it has worked every single time.

btw... This only makes me angrier at EA and the CFM team.... This is not a bug, this is just a design issue... So rather than making us wait for a patch where they'll modify the code so that we can play multiplayer without having to advance the week, they could have just given us the aforementioned solution.

One of the reasons why EA gets blasted so much is because they're so shady about stuff and their communication/feedback is really bad.

But anyways, hope people try this fix and comment if it also works for ya!

Well this is nice find. Still have to wait for the patch though to fix sim stats.

But a great find.....hopefully EA does patch this design issue though.

My "fix" for sim stats (since EA thinks it's cool to just keep us in the dark with patch news) is:
SUPER-SIM! (32 team control)

I just set the qtr length to 7mins and go into EACH game on the schedule and supersim... quite realistic overall stats.

However, as with everything Madden related, there are some downsides:
- No injuries in supersim

- For some reason, every once in a while you'll run into a 55-51 score :P Most results are in very realistic ranges

- Lastly, and the one that bothers me the most as it's something that has been in Madden sim engine for DECADES.... RB's breaking 70+ yd runs in supersim/regular sim... Happens soooo often :/ then they go 10 carries for 21yds the rest of the game and somehow end up with an awesome per carry avg.

If you can somehow look past this, you'll be able to play a good CFM --- For me, both FIFA and NBA 2K are coming soon enough that I know there is not so much time left for me with Madden The quality difference is too big.

I find this workaround to be good enough + I don't really trust EA to fix anything definitively.

Thanks for the info.

I have not had a problem since I started delegating game prep then playing that weeks game.

I want to know if anybody has found a way to get in game drills to work. It is frustrating not being able to go through the ballhawk drill.
