CFM Draft classes impressions

What are your thoughts on the players in the draft classes? So far it has seemed decent to me except the TE position is complete garbage in the classes I've looked at. There hasn't been a TE that I would even allow on my team in the two classes I've looked so far. Extremely weak, some with 30's strength. PRC seems really low on most DBs as well.

Re: CFM Draft classes impressions

I drafted two studs in the first round.

Trey Hudson QB- R1P2
H:6'3'' Speed:85 Acc: 90 Throw power:95 Acc:80 Dev: ALL star
The only thing I didn't like is that he is already 24. Kind of old for a rookie. And thats one think I noticed there were a lot of 24 year olds. But this dude looks like a beast. Excited to play with him.

I simulated through about 15 drafts in two different CFM's (won't start an actual CFM until sim stats are fixed). Some had studd tight ends that could rival Gronk and Graham others had what your described. But it has been like that for all the positions. I had one where there was maybe 3 QB's that could be considered starters. So far I like the random classes because there aren't studs at every positions.

Just took a look at projected first-rounders so far and like what I saw. There were no names that no sane parent would curse their child with, all of them were from FBS schools with the SEC having the most, and there just happened to be a FSU QB who was projected 9th. Too bad we can't edit the names.

I agree with everything except the names thing. When I see real NFL players named Captain, Prince, Storm, Starlite and Justice (sounds like the name of Superheros) I know anything is possible. My biggest gripe last year was the obsession with FCS and Division 2 schools (especially Augustana), luckily I haven't seen many of those players this year until the later rounds.

Just started and looked at my scouting for my first franchise and projected 1st over all pick is a TE.....we'll see but I notice most of the linemen are smaller no huge standouts. I look for size on the O line and D line. We'll see can't be worse than last year.

But you could edit your biggest gripe last year, and this year I believe.

But if someone does have a problem with some of the names the game comes out with..... they cant change it.

Or when a Rookie gets a Shaved head pic, and is wearing dreads in the game.... one of my big gripes from last year.

One draft I had over 3 players with this problem, irritated me that I could not just fix it by choosing a different head !
