They're not following that schedule, North ratings will probably be out on Monday if they split up kickers and punters like they did LBs and safeties.

How Troy still gets rated 90+ is over my head...

Re: Madden NFL 15 - Top Strong Safeties

lol troy P in the top 5. I hope barry church got some love if Reshad Jones is a 89.

Reshad Jones
107 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 0 force fumbles, 1 int, 4 PD, 2 STF

Barry Church
135 tackles, 0 sacks, 3 force fumbles, 1 FR, 1 int, 6PD, 3 STF

But Reshad Jones also had a pretty good year the year before so I see the logic. Just hope Barry church recieved alittle love.

I hope every time I play the Steelers Jim tells me how enjoyable it's been to document the career of Troy Polamalu.

Re: Madden NFL 15 - Top Strong Safeties

Troy should be nowhere near the top safeties in the game.

This illustrates the problem with ratings. Most of you will remember that sometime ago they lowered ratings and made 90+ guys more rare. Obviously it is no longer the case.

Why? Madden is quick to boost guys but when it comes to lowering guys they do not like to do it. A guy originally rated a 75 could have a great year and be bumped up to 85 while a guy rated a 90 could have a bad year and drop to a 88. Within a short time frame this leads to a collection of highly rated players.

In fairness to EA we are partly to blame. We cry foul anytime one of "our" guys get a ratings hit.

I expect things to get worse now that player ratings are getting a bigger profile and the dreaded community involvement.

Re: Madden NFL 15 - Top Strong Safeties

Troy should not even be 90+ in coverage and awareness anymore as some are crediting him.

TV Analysists and Stat Critics on the WWW continue to espouse that Troy is regressing as a safety and is basically only servicable as an extra backer in the box because his safety skills are to suspect.

It is time someone else take Troy's throne and he fall down a few more seats.

Madden ratings on defense so far have been pretty horrible overall, it doesn't seem like they have been updated much at all. Polamalu shouldn't be top 5 anymore, it's not 2011. And if anyone should be biased it'd be me considering I've met his family and spent time with them in Hawaii. They are wonderful and believe they are amazing people and so is he, but I'm sure even at this point in his career he'd tell you that he is just happy to still be playing. That and I think Kam should be at least a 95 and Earl Thomas should be around 96-98. Yeah I know I sound like a homer, but they are that good.
