Nostalgia?

Anyways the service is for EA games, not just the sport selection.

EA Access or not PS Now is probably going to struggle at current pricing. Really not the thread for that discussion though.
Well yeah, after I submitted that post I was gonna edit it to say entire catalog save for a game or two here or there.

I don't buy them all, and I buy madden digitally so 10% off (which edges digital a little closer to day-1 retail deals) pays for almost 3 months of EA Access as well as providing early access to games I wouldnt normally try (the other sports games) and the program is for more than just sports games.

Oh, and the growing collection of free games in the vault, which even at $5 to try the service is a bargain if there's 1-2 you want to try. That's the obvious value comparison to Sony's PS Now rental service that they don't want people to be making.

Sony's passing on the EA Access really doesn't bother me at this point, at least after the preliminary information that the early release games may be subject to a limited time trial.

If it turns out the sports games in particular are unlimited access then I will be upset

From some of the tweets I've stumbled across, I'm interpreting that the sports titles will be unlimited and single player games will have a 2 hour window.

Thanks

To everyone looking to join the xbox early preview program, it was something offered by Microsoft and SELECTED BY MICROSOFT. So, u can't sign up for it. Microsoft sent invites to select users.

So, if u didn't get invited, u probably never will.

Correct. But recently they gave current members the ability to invite others.
