My theory is that they baited and switched us: that that RG3 clip was what we would be getting in year 2, while we were going to be stuck with a beta version of the Ignite engine for 25. Basically they weren't lying to us about the capabilities of the Ignite engine but rather when they would have said engine fully implemented (which is still pretty crappy on their part).

This makes me excited for the possible gameplay improvements, as I was underwhelmed when NG 25 came out. To me it was clearly a step up from last gen, but it didn't have the big leap that was implied by their talk about the Ignite Engine. Basically it felt like they improved the physics engine they introduced with Madden 13, rather than developing a brand new engine like they claimed they did for use in all of their sports titles.
Sadly I don't think we'll ever get a "big leap" as far as gameplay goes while on a yearly cycle.
Maybe I'll be wrong but bringing a game out every year encourages incremental increases in performances as opposed to giant steps forward.

I enjoyed M25 on Xbox One all the same, it wasn't amazing but I had some fun with it and it was better than it's 360 counterpart.

Looks incredible. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction and there's a lot more shown at E3 including gameplay

Now that's an effin screenshot.

Still not holding the laces on the ball like a real quarterback but it looks good otherwise... very good.

Players look like real athletes now and kudos on the nixing the overgrown flak jackets.

Re: First Official Madden 15 Screenshot

I know it's very early to really get to excited but holy cow that looks so good and way better then anything I saw from Madden 25 on next gen systems!

I am really starting to think Madden 25 really was just a port and Madden 15 will truly be the next gen game we have been waiting for. Whether or not that means we will finally get much improved animations including QB drop backs is something I would really love to know. The player models in this new screen shot look more like real life now. I mean their size portions Hopefully no more giant looking QB 's

If it actually looks like that in-game, chalk me in impressed. I'm kind of contradicting what I just said right there but remember, visuals don't make a game. Gameplay does.

Kaepernick looks great in this pic but I hope they are not limited to only a few players. I'm looking forward to seeing the tats on Darnell Dockett when he's sacking this joker. Doesn't need to be anywhere as intricate, just give him and some of the lesser guys something that reflects their real life counter parts.

For sure now we know it will look great, kudos to them for getting tats in and fixing up the player models(from what we can see so far).

But all I really care about is how it animates, and if the game plays a realistic game of football. All I care about at this point.

Does it look like they've scanned his body and face?
