I am not sure what level he is playing, but on All Madden default I am not able to pick the AI apart.

Sorry to say that this game has more positives than negatives, and coming from me, thats a big deal!

Players movement is not fluid, but they're not ice skating around players either

Defenders are not tied to the ball (at least from what I have seen out of 5 games already)

Pocket is there, it holds up well enough for you to try and make a play

run game feels more natural barring the players animations. No longer are people ice skating back and fourth to gain ground when your player is running the ball, they actually have momentum and footplanting. (may not be 100% but its a great step in the right direction)

Playing defense is a lil better, you will have to get used to the player momentum and foot planting, I like that very much.

Playing online actually feels kinda authentic but I do know that this is just the first few days of launch.

Cons-

Game feels arcadey in some instances like interceptions and stuff, maybe its the upgraded GFX that give it that "NFL Blitz" feel but its there

The infinity engine needs to be tweaked like on current gen, players are flopping around and falling the moment you make the slightest bit if contact with someone.

Havent seen too many penalties called still

Game needs some more "character" and I feel that the next Madden may just deliver the goods we were all expecting...

Final opinion-

Game is solid and "I" enjoy it for what its worth and the potential thats there.

B- from me but the effort has been put forth and I do feel that this is NOT there true nex gen offering!

Likely because Ryan Moody is wisely, imo, looking at the game with a critical eye after having more time with it than most. Give next-gen M25 about 30 days and watch how the impressions will likely start to change after the newness of the incremental improvements wear off and the legacy issues, like those Moody shows, stand out again. Don't believe me, go look at the difference in the impressions when current-gen M25 first dropped and after it was out about 30 days, Groundhog Day.

To each their own. I think if you expected a truly revolutionary game, then you made the right choice. However for the first time in a long time I think this game has some merit. Is it worth 60 dollars? Not sure, everyone sense of the value of a dollar is different.

The game clearly has a ways to go, and their are issues with it, that can't be disputed, but and it's a big but, for me at least it's been fun. Now I don't spend hours breaking each play down frame by frame, I just put the game in and play it and if it's fun I keep playing it, and if it's not, I quit playing it, so take what I am saying for what it's worth.

Just curious if you are aware that, if I'm not mistaken, Ryan Moody went down to EA Tiburon this year?

You are obviously a crazy person, and should seek help immediately.
