IR Return Question

Forgive me if this is a dumb/old question, but is there an issue with returning players from IR? On PS4 version and I was able to return a couple of guys, but now it won’t let me return others who are no longer injured. I am in week 11 and they are players who have been injured since the start of the year so it’s been 8 weeks at least. Is there some sort of limit I’m not aware of or is this a bug?

Did you put them on IR in the preseason? If so, by rule they have to stay on IR all year. You have to wait until week 1 to do short term IR.

There is a limit of 8 players that can be designated to return.

Ah, that’s probably it. I started my franchise at the regular season and they were pre-existing injuries so yeah, the game probably treats that as a preseason designation. Thank you, didn’t know that.

I started a franchise this week, and it will not allow my players to return. Two different guys went out with 3-4 week injuries mid season, I placed them both on IR, and now that they're healthy there is no option to bring them back.

This is different from when I last played before the most recent updates.

I noticed this as well...

I started a new cloud CFM in WK1 of the regular season, and all my guys with 3-4 week injuries were on IR and appear to be out for the season, which was a little bit of a bummer.

I think I'm going to start in the pre-season this time to avoid some of these guys being out that long.

For the time being, I'm just turning all injuries off. The number of injuries that I suffer in game is fair and realistic. The number that the CPU does is close to being that way. But the CPU doesn't suffer ANY in simmed games unless you really move up the injury slider, and then your own team is torn apart in game. Its still a mess and I'm just going to not deal with it, I think.
