I agree with you! One changed I did was is to put cpu ball control to a 90…was forcing too many fumbles. Haven’t touch penalties… only one I see on arcade as of now is roughing the passer. To me it’s actually enjoyable playing madden now.

Re: Madden 23: Arcade Mode Gameplay

Any difference in play calling, specifically how often the CPU runs the ball?

The game feels looser. I'm able to get the ball to WRs more consistently, and catching is better. Guys attack the ball, not just DBs. However if u make a bad read, you will pay for it. More about passing in a bit.

Running the ball on both sides - I know Tony Pollard is not a trucking back, but I had a nice hole open and shot thru the line. I was head up with a LB and attempted to truck...he didn't run over the LB but instead he did this head down, pop, spin off, regain balance and head up feild. On sim he just lunges forward for extra yards. It was nice to see that animation.

My biggest complaint has been on the defense side of it all. I'm aware insta-shed isn't realistic, but when you have 2 quality DE and ur rushing 4, I should get pressure more often then not. On arcade, quick heat comes from Parsons and Lawrence almost all the time. When I user Pasons, he rips through immediately, NOT have some sort of timer playing patty cake with the offense. Reminds me of M21.

When I run the ball outside and you have a star outside LB or DE they really get to the back field with aggression. I'm talking about the CPU doing this to your run game. currently, the run blk is slightly over powered but if you are running at an X factor they will stop you or disrupt the back feild.

On arcade, star WR get some very nice RAC. it's not enough to play great coverage, but you gotta make sure ur ready to slow down or tackle the big guys.

The play art does get annoying, but I've managed to get use to it. If you can look past that and work with the sliders. The game is alot more refreshing.

Can’t you turn off the play art in settings? I just saw it in the user settings earlier
