I am in shock at the difference between this game and the beta. I put in probably around 40 hours into the beta and absolutely loved it.

The game feels like it's in fast forward in comparison, everything is sped up. It makes the animations feel jerky and ruins the tackling physics they had in the beta. All the little things that made the game feel organic are seemingly gone, replaced by twitchy animations that make the game feel more like M22 to me. The running locomotion in the beta was the smoothest I have ever felt in a video game and I feel like they turned up the speed to make it feel more "responsive". Instead of making it feel more responsive, the players now feel like they have no weight compared to what it was. You really felt the physicality of football in the beta.

The only thing that is better than the beta to me is the mid air collisions, but I'm severely disappointed in the feel of the game now. I was in replay constantly in the beta and was in awe of the little organic details that you would notice. Now it feels soulless.

I will continue playing the trial but I will probably cancel my preorder. They claimed to not change the gameplay from the beta but they striped out everything that I loved about it. It really is a shell of the game I played a couple months ago.

All-Pro with interceptions slider set down to 25. CPU QB has thrown 2 pick 6’s before the end of the 2nd quarter. Same issue we had in beta.

Played one game so far. Play now. All-Pro. Pats (me) Vs Bills (CPU). Won 21-17

Just some quick thoughts.

Game is the best looking football game I’ve seen. Graphics really are tremendous.

First time using the new passing mechanic. Chose the second option. Had some wonky throws.

CPU clock management is still awful. Before the half. The Bills are marching down the field. Take all three timeouts on consecutive plays. The last one was with 15 seconds left at the 20 yard line that was good enough for a first down. They kick a fg and leave about 12 seconds on the clock. Why not call it a few seconds later

CPU thanks inning game wasn’t a threat.

CPU passing had some errant throws which was nice to see

Anyone noticing a large amount of broken tackles by the AI? Almost every play there is one or two broken tackles AT LEAST.

I'm seeing a bunch of blocking issues where the lineman just stand there while a dlineman just runs right at the qb untouched

The John Madden Memorial Game might be the most artistic thing ever built into a Madden game.

It's a low bar, admittedly, but the way the game is executed with specialized commentary throughout the game, all sorts of player-specific audio, John Madden voice clips, and even a halftime video tribute... it's all very well done and very tasteful. I enjoyed it.

I saw someone mention this before..im playing on a OLED tv- with HDR10...HDMI 2.1...120fps----and the colors seem WAY off on a Sunday early game when your playing with clear blue skies. Its kind of a dark overcast, seems more like a 4pm game in a town thats about to rain. Really hope this gets fixed but i doubt it...LOVE the way the domes and retractable roof stadiums look, but definitely something seems off with the early games and clear skies- not near bright enough
