New Info on Sliders? Possibly!?!

This means that the reason your defense doesn't play correctly is because the game scripts it that way, because if both sides use the CPU sliders for any players not being actively controlled by the User then they should play on the same level but it doesn't always work because Madden has scripts and tries to make the game more challenging and competitive so it boosts and lowers teams abilities depending on the situation and that's why your team defense and offense line play horrible especially on higher difficulty. Plus there's tons of bugs and broken mechanics.

Do you guys think this changes anything going forward on making and changing slider sets or was this information already known? That if you want to change User's team play you have to edit the CPU sliders.

This makes sense totally. I was actually of same mind set...the obvious question is how to get it to mesh well with user play. To me the best way would be the way you can do this in the mlb franchise. I pitch and leave everything on auto and just hit with everyone. You can obviously player lock on madden but you have to reset every play to lock on qb for example.

I have been using the AM Chat GPT sliders found here with pretty good results, so I guess nothing is out of the realm of possibility with EA and sliders...lol

Out of curiosity, what makes you say this? Got a source? EA and sliders have been nothing but a complete mystery for years, so any other ideas should be welcomed.

I was definitely going to test some things out to see how things line up but I know from past experiences people have seen different results from things that normally shouldn't, i.e like Matt10's old YouTube videos of his finding when he used to do extensive research and test trials.

Got ya, I for one definitely welcome a possible new way to look at how the sliders work/or don't work.

I have (and still see) so many different thoughts on what the sliders impact, and truth be told I have never once seen anything with my own eyes to convince me otherwise.

But hey, to each their own.
