You may have to search by PSN ID since vault is unreliable.

Settings are for PLAY NOW CPU vs CPU. I can't vouch for gameplay if you control one team and/or change any settings. If you do play with one, I would choose Speed Parity. Lower it to open up the game more, especially passing. But have at it I guess. If the cpu behaves nicely in cpu vs cpu, I assume it will hold up if you control one team, but who the heck knows!

Pro setting is used as I believe it offers the truest gameplay in relation to player ratings. All options and settings are included below.

I used asantsead's great all-time file as a base and re-rated every player, as well as added over 100 All-stars and legends, and removed many of the present day players who I didn't think warranted being on an All-time roster.

But let me be clear, asantsead deserves a boatload of credit and did a wonderful job in his set.

Changed equipment, depth charts, and many players to correct positions, although sometimes you need to have a player listed as RG in the editor even though he was a LG (example only). This is due to roster position minimum requirements. I cleaned up 90% of this. If you see a player with an incorrect jersey number, it is because it was already assigned to another player on the roster, usually an older player or one with the team longer.

As most of you know, realism on the field is also tied to playbooks. I recommend using the default books such as Balanced, Run Balanced, Run and Gun, Run Heavy. If you want more two back sets, download and use Iteachhistory78 70s playbooks..one for offense and one for defense.

I removed the Big Hitter trait on many players only because of the way EA implemented it. I love the idea, but hate the animation and outcome. Some players like Butkus, Bednarik, Lott, Tatum, Lewis, and a few others still have the setting as Yes.

I tried to not have duplicate players on multiple teams. I think there are less than 5 of these, and some hard choices had to be made.

Lastly, these were developed for Play Now only. The roster file is not for Franchise really. The original roster has many players on the Injured list, but it does not affect Play Now.

Enjoy the roster if you are a CPU vs CPU guy, and if I missed some things forgive me, but let me know.

Oh..another thing came to mind. Don't be a slave to overall ratings...for teams or players.

For example, you will see many fullbacks with a 99 rating. Why? Because to get them to act more realistically as fullbacks you have to raise their blocking ratings, awareness at a minimum so they pick up blocks and lead the way for the halfback. These specific ratings really raise the overall for the player.

QBs may seem a little lower than what you are used to seeing. This is to avoid robo QB as well as lead to more realistic passing percentages. I did look at pro-football-reference.com to see who were the best long passers and made sure their Deep Pass rating was in the mid 80's to 90 or so. You won't see 99s for many ratings, but there are a few that have certain traits rated between 95-98.

I think the lower ratings leads to better, more realistic looking in field play. Remember, this is a roster with the best of the best. You won't see many players rated low, because they would not deserve to be in an All-time roster if so!

It's fun to dream and create this type of roster, but you do sort of have to suspend disbelief when playing it watching.

Oh..I didn't do the Texans. Ran out of gas and don't care about them anyway. . It's the only team I didn't do.

The vault does not seem to show the roster file unless I search for my PSN name You have to search for capa2000 as PSN name and then you should see AlltimeCA roster file. Crazy...

Thank you! As mentioned in initial post, running a franchise will pose issues. Lots of guys are on the Injured list in the roster set. Also, to try to get some running back rotation in Play Now, I set stamina for all RBs very low. That would probably rear its ugly head in franchise. These were created for Play Now, but I guess you can see what happens!

I got a error code.

It seems like it may work once preexisting injuries are turned off.

Any advice on the auto-subs assignment?

What do you mean error code? For subs I left all default except RBs...made them 92 out and 98 in I think. It doesn't really matter. They just don't work this year.

Subbing RBs is broken in Play Now. It may also be broken in Franchise. I've tried everything to get rotation. I do have the depth charts set up so you will see different backs on 3rd down and Power formations. But you will also still see the main back stay in after 3 or 4 carries which is not too realistic.
