Still have 226 free agents to fill. Wanted to do a big write-up about this file but i’m Crunched for time. Big shout out to assante. Great base roster and love his ideas on how to get players to look as big as they should, like earl campbell. Great equipment stuff too.

I used a rating system that bases over alls on career performance. Like all pro, pro bowl and hall of fame. Just don’t have time to get into it now.

Playbooks:
Alltimecolts-very multiple and balanced scheme but establishes run early

Alltimefalcons2–spread option for Vick

Customchiefs-heavy power run with tons of 2 and 3 te sets and play action passes

Alltimepatriots-lot like the default playbook but not as much deep junk. Probably most pass-centric playbook of the bunch.

Alltime49ers-all under center and pure west coast.

AlltimeSteelers—power run, but mixes a little 3 wr action because they have deep wrs.

AlltimeRavens-very balanced but run first book

AlltimeGiants2-lots of 2 te sets for Shockey and bavoro. Want to work on this one more.

AlltimeDolphin2-way more balanced and gets all backs involved and less te

AlltimeBears2-more run first than original and intent to wear other team out

AlltimeRams-kind of like the old steve spurrier offense at florida. More spread for faulk and pass routes for him too.

AlltimeBrowns2-power run, gets all backs involved. They try to wear the other team out

AlltimeVikings-run first but lots of 3 wr sets mixed and shotgun so chuck foreman can run and catch, mixed with peterson’s Strength and speed. Deadly combo. Seen them have Peterson have 98 and 89 for foreman and he had a 60 yard td catch on a delay route

How to get playbooks to work for both teams:
You’ve got to have 2 controllers

When you get second controller, create a profile and match the sliders with the original profile. REMEMBER TO DO THE AUTOSUBS WITH THE SECOND PROFILE AND THAT THE SLIDERS MATCH. IT WILL MESS WITH GAMEPLAY IF YOU DON’T.

With second profile, download the custom books from my locker.

When you get to play now screen pick a a team with each controller. Keep the controllers on those side, DON’T move them back to the middle.

When the game starts, mash pause and put controller in the middle. For the opening kickoff, you have to manually control. After the kickoff, it’s cpu vs cpu.

Trying to work kinks out of cfm in modern rosters. When I’m done, I’ll get back to those 226 free agents. Haven’t played with the file in a week or so. Starting to miss it.

Testing some all time cpu vs cpu CFM games. Looking pretty good so far. Just saw the Jets edge the Lions in a 10-7 game where all points were scored in the first quarter. It was a Monday Night Primetime game too. Those are usually shootouts. Maybe that last patch tuned the primetime games and we’ll see more slugfests like this. Here’s the stats:
