Does the Halftime Show work for anyone on PC?

I have a CFM going with 30 team control. At halftime in every game, Coach talks about 3 games and the stats are always zereoed out and the last game is always Chi v. Chi. This happens whether Ive simmed every game (through super sim) or no games before the game I'm playing.

Anyone else seeing this?

I guess im not sure what im supposed to be seeing. I’ve only played on pc.

I know that exhibition games are very weak by design, and i can tell you that i wasnt overly inpressed with the 1/2 time “show” that im actually seeing in my cfm.

Like i said, im mot sure what its supposed to be like, but am relatively unimpressed.

I'n not impressed with the 3d USA map that zooms into the location of the games and then just gives some brief stats for them. Usually only 3 games as well. Since I am not controlling all 30 teams the stats are not empty but they are "boring". This halftime show is some weak sauce. In my mind they put the emphasis on the wrong thing. We didn't want 3d map graphics....we wanted immersion. Once again EA missed the mark. Hate to bring it up but when I was playing the 2k5 game way back when I never skipped the halftime or post game show....heck there was even a weekly wrap up show that featured quick summaries of "all" the weeks games with a few highlights as well as playoff scenarios. I know we could have so much more today but I guess that's not in the cards for EA.

For once I can't agree that NBA is any better, as their replays are busted this year (worse than Madden or Live's).

Sadly the popularity of microtransactions is hurting the simulation aspect of sports games more and more each year.

I assume it's because of 30 team control. Since you technically are in control of those teams, they in theory haven't actually been played yet.

I do not do 30 team control, and the stats, etc work just fine for me during half time shows.

Thanks.

The only issue is that I actually play the games. I super sim every game I'm not playing that week before I play the games I want to actually play. So for example if I'm playing the Sunday Night game, every game is simmed except for Monday Night Football

I play the same way and see the same, they need to fix that for CPU vs CPU and Super Sim games.

I think you described it pretty good. It simply is 'boring'.

Imo the setup of discussing 3 games is a decent concept, however they should have added some highlights/score footage of these games including some stories to make it fun/interesting. Now it's just stats.
