Really, GO KESSEL GO!!!

Many bright spots here in one of the strongest years seen in Toronto since pre lock out years.

Post game media scrum with the first star G Sergei Bobrovsky:

Yeah, they (the Rangers) came at us really hard out of the gate and really pushed us back on our heels I felt.

The guys started to get back on their feet when Luke (Schenn) put Boyle through the glass there in our zone, that really seemed to spark everyone, After The Thrill (Phil Kessel) snapped the wrister past Lundqvist it was over.

I am glad we were able to do this on home ice for the fans, they have really deserved it.

Plays of the game; as selected by you the fans:

Kessel snaps one past Lundqvist around traffic

Team Captain Luke Schenn throws his weight around

The one that got away, Turris sneaks an ugly one past Lundqvist

Game two VS Rangers:

Pre game interview: Coach Gilmour

We played a really solid game in game one, just a couple of adjustments I would like to see for game two, we need to start the game as we finished our last game and I would like to see us play tighter defensively.

We played a fast and physical game after about the midpoint of the first, but that's to be expected, a lot of our guys here are getting their first taste of playoff hockey and it's easy to get away from the game plan.

Post game interview: Marian Gaborik
It was a very frustrating game, Henrik gave us the saves we needed to win but we failed him.

They (the Leafs) came out fast and hard and put two in really quickly, then after that they were able to play a trap and chip and chase game, rolling four lines. They were able to stay fast and play physical the entire game.

We got a lot of opportunities having five power plays, but couldn't beat Bobrovsky, now were down two games heading home. This needs to be fixed.

Plays of the game: Chosen by you the fans

A little luck, a little skill and it's a goal. Paajarvi shows some shooting power

Bobrovsky comes up huge on PK, preserving the shutout

Game three in New York:

Pre game interview with coach Gilmour:

Way too many penalties last game. Luckily for us Bob came up larger than life and stopped them all, that was a frustrating game to watch from the bench.

We came out really fast in the first and were able to push them (the rangers) on their heels like they did to us in game one, just we found the back of the net twice quickly, from there we rolled four lines trying to keep everyone playing short fast shifts.

The biggest thing heading into this next game here is we continue to utilize our strengths which are speed and physical play

Franson picks up a juicy rebound and makes no mistake

Ugh, I forgot to not exit the game to get stats I’m sorry but no box score for this one.

Game score ended up being a 4-0 win, rangers have played flat all playoffs and Henrik can't do it all himself.

Rick Nash got his first goal of the post season and Phil Kessel added two goals, Cody Franson also got his first. sorry again

Post game reaction: Brad Richards:

We gotta come out harder here, we didn’t play a successful 82 game season to get into the playoffs and get swept out right away.

This failure is on us skaters right now, Henrik has done everything possible on his end of things, now we skaters have to pick it up and get our heads in the game, because right now it's looking pretty bad out there.

Nash finds a quiet area on the ice and rips a one timer, half clapper top cheddar baby!

Post game interview: Phil Kessel

Yeah it's great to put a couple in, but it's better to see the guys firing on all cylinders out there, our guys are clicking well and finding the holes in the Rangers game right now.

Well, were up 3-0 now and I think it's important we keep pushing and finish them off next game here, when you got a good team like these guys down and playing below where they should it's important to seize that opportunity and not let them back up.

Thanks guys, I have been kinda surprised how easy the rangers have been, very little push back.

Going to jump up sliders a notch to see if it helps.

It could be a lot worse as they have outshot me almost every game but Bob has been a wall in net.
