I have the new tiger........

So disapointed that I turned it off after 9 holes at Augusta. Very boring to say the least just the same ol same ole. Their is no way to turn off the caddy except for the button to hit when on the course. I played tour pro and tournament and its laughable. Last years Tiger was way better. This game is just another way too easy golf unsimulator. Wish I could elaborate more but its the exact same as the demo.

Can't say I agree with that at all, but I respect your opinion....

This is disappointing to read, but I'd like to ask a few clarifying questions:

Are you playing the XBox 360 version?
Were you playing as Tiger or a created golfer?
Did you have the wind at breezy, or higher?
What pin settings were you using?
How fast were the greens?
Did you find it too easy to hit fairways and greens, even in Tournament difficulty?

If you would be so kind as to check out the "Live Tournaments" feature, and see what's new there, it would be much appreciated. I'm curious to see if they're trying to use "Leader Ball Arcs" again this year, or if they've given us some other option(s) to "liven" it up a bit.

John,

I have found nothing easy about this game. I am traditionally a TOUR Pro player and abhor the Amateur arcade play, but the game is darned difficult even for seasoned players at the higher levels. Much more so at this point than TW11 was, so I completely disagree with the OP on virtually every point he made.....

You shouldn't make a thread just trashing the game without giving specific details why instead of making blanket statements that it "sucks'. Divotmaker and I have had our conflicting opinions but I do respect his opinion on his sim views of the TW series.

Tell us why so it can help many of us base our decison on your input. That's what I like about OS because there are serious gamers here and good debates on the merits of a new game and I have withheld buying many games from opinions of people here have made because I respect the opinions of many here and that they look for the same thing in a game that I do. And it also works in reverse as I never intended to buy Crysis 2 but alot of gamers here, whose opinions I respect, are raving about the game so I bought it and I'm happy I did because it's an amazing game.

With your brief blanket analysis, it's hard to take you seriously. BTW how did you get the game so early?

That's good to hear Tim. I'll be starting out on the 360 version, so I may not have to drop down to Amateur to build my character with the Microsoft Wireless Controller. I know that if I had to build my character with the DS3, I'm not sure that Amateur would be low enough!

How much XP did you carry from Tiger 11 and the Tiger 12 demo? Whatever you brought, did it net in as much benefit as you thought?

50K from TW11 and 40K from TW12 demo and YES it does help reduce the time spent building your character.

Just played Chris Demarco in a Skins match on the 2nd PGA TOUR Training session at Waielae with the Move with all aids off in TrueAim on Amateur mode and the Move was SENSATIONAL. I will start moving up the difficulty levels as I improve on my CAG and see how well the Move performs under those levels, but this 6 hole skins match with DeMarco was a freaking blast and the Move played like I envisioned it would when I bought one....

You should PM a mod a pic or some proof that you have the game.

This is a requirement of people claiming to have a game extra early, and im not picking on you, its the rules of the site

we are waiting by the way, otherwise its a permanent ban from the site
