Weren't we suppose to get a lot of DLC content? Any word on when there will be some more courses released?

No offense and I am not trying to start anything but why hurry for more courses? The ones they have put out don't work or are glitchy and if you are on PS3 we don't have a patch yet.

I would rather them fix the problems first and then put out DLC. But that's just the way I feel about it. I personally am days away from taking it back and going back to 10 or giving up on golf all together.

Can you elaborate on what you mean the courses 'don't work' or are glitchy?

One problem I notice, and haven't much lately, for some reason, is how a ball magically is in a different place than it was hit, and that will never be fixed. They just don't allow for enough graphical memory I guess, to store the courses properly. That strikes me as amateurish, but maybe I just don't understand.

I don't recall ever seeing that in Links, and it's a bit puzzling.

But overall I think it's a good game, the best version. Curious what you have been seeing. I still don't think it's as good as Links was at its best. But it has been years since I played links, and might have forgotten stuff.

Let me start by saying I to think it is a great game and I am not trying to bash it it any way.

The drop issue that you listed is one complaint and it has to do with the graphic engine corrupting itself with the club being to close to a hazard or out of bounds line. Another issue is with the Highlands being all mussed up with hole distances some of the par 3's should be 4's and 4' and 5"s are all switched around. Also some of the scorecards are messed up on other courses but I honestly cant testify to that one because I have not down- loaded any more courses until I get confirmation of a patch and that they all work the way they should. I also have not been ably to finsh a round in career mode without it freezing on me yet.

Online is completely hosed as far as earning points and disconnects and stuff like that. It is frustrating for me because I think they are very close to a wnderful game but I am just so tired of this release and then fix mentality from game companies, not just EA they are just at the forefront right now for me.

The par values for the holes on Highlands are completely incorrect: (from the black tees)

Hole 6 (516 yards) should be a par 5, not a par 4
Hole 8 (431 yards) should be a par 4, not a par 5
Hole 10 (392 yards) should be a par 4, not a par 5
Hole 11 (585 yards) should be a par 5, not a par 4
Hole 12 (434 yards) should be a par 4, not a par 5
Hole 13 (400 yards) should be a par 4, not a par 3
Hole 15 (185 yards) should be a par 3, not a par 4
Hole 17 (240 yards) should be a par 3, not a par 4
Hole 18 (603 yards) should be a par 5, not a par 4

These are not just my opinions, these were what the pars were in previous versions. If you still doubt me, just look at the yardages and the corresponding par value, and tell me if that makes sense.

Now I cant take all the credit I lifted these from the Tiger Forums because it was easier than writing it myself. This was compiled be George_Luz8 but they are correct I have checked.

Re: 2 weeks and no new courses?

biggest problem is a par 3 on emerald dragon where i have landed on right side of green and another time the fringe and end up getting put back 100 yds or so...makes me so mad every time...havent noticed much else aside from scorecard questions on highlands

Re: 2 weeks and no new courses?

Prices are just ridiculous anyway, like 1/6-7 the cost of the game for 1 more course
