No, there is no True-Aim if you are playing online with friends.

I'm guessing it has to do with how animations are handled by the game engine, as you can't have animations on when using True-Aim. This kind of sucks, since that eliminates the graphic that tells you the distance of your last shot.

There is no mode online where the 3 of you could play online in a group and use TrueAim. TrueAim is available to play in Live Tournament rounds, but these are limited to the single player experience unfortunately.

I thought this was going to be patched in eventually. Is that off the board now?

Now that we have a league going, it would be fun to arrange some games where we can play with each other. But I'm not sure I'm willing to go back to using the old way to do it. So we are pretty much stuck submitting scores and posting about it later.

They said they would look into patching in the ability for P2P TrueAim matches, but I have not heard a peep since....

wow - i didnt realize you couldnt play a match-play with another person using true-aim...

that seems bizarre, no?

It is...and sucks. Kinda ruins online for me as to playing w/another person because I can't see going back to the 'normal' mode of playing now.
