Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online Review

Arnie Palmer and his manager Mark McCormack were the first to ink a player-manager relationship decades ago. These two would help shape what we now know as athlete representation and management.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online (TWO) has a lot in common with the management of a professional athlete.

In TWO, I cannot help but feel as if I am managing a golfer’s career like an agent. I make huge financial decisions and career moves for him off the links by entering him in to the best tournaments and landing successful sponsorships.

From there, I get to control his success on the course with my TruSwing controls.

8 is too high. It's not a complete enough game for a score like that.
And while I agree three-click swing is outdated, some people like it ... and you can always use TrueSwing, which is pretty good.

Re: Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online Review

I think 8 is fair, the online community portion of the game is done very well. They will also have the ability to continue to improve and add features.

I have enjoyed it so far.

To be fair I do think you need to really like golf / and golf video games to spend the time and money to play this one.

Nice review Chris.

Hey guys, is this game free? If I remember correctly, this title was free a few months ago. Was that just a BETA?

Re: Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online Review

An 8?

No female character the last time I checked.

No player customizations other than cloths.

Just now adding turned based multiplayer.

A game so easy " a cave man could do it ".

Very pricey when you compare it to its console counter parts and their features / graphics.

A 5 is all this game is worthy of.

You missed a very important element of the TWO experience: Hundreds, if not thousands, of people cannot join because their credit cards are rejected by EA's billing system. And EA insists that, despite the fact that every other vendor on God's green Earth accepts their card with no problem, that the prospective member must be a crook and only they are smart enough to rig a billing system to reject them.

And if you want to use PayPal for a membership, forget it: credit cards only.

As far as the game itself: I shot a 43 at Wolf's Creek. That's 29 under par! And I left a couple of strokes on the course! This game does has a certain fun factor to it, but it is NOT GOLF!!

I give it a 2.
