How many events have you noticed the AI players playing? Trying to figure out which I can skip and still be in the fedex race (I don’t win every week by any means)

Several players in my first season played all 32 weeks. Those who finished in the Top 30 of the rankings played somewhere between 26-32.

I played 24, won 3 events including the season-ending Tour Championship, and no issue getting into the FedExCup Playoffs.
