Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

Mangotsfield is making a final push for the league. 5 matches left and we're in 2nd. 3 points back. With a very favorable schedule against all bottom half teams, we have a great chance. A win in the next match will clinch a promotion playoff spot.

Will post screens after I'm done.

EDIT:
With one match left, we're 3 back without a chance to make up the tiebreaker. Will be playing the promotion playoff tomorrow.

So Gabby is freaking RED HOT for me right now.

Red, freaking hot. Just look at his stats. I guess playing with Hugo Almeida has done wonders for him.

Still, hot. Speaking of Gabby Agbonlahor, he is my nemesis in all FIFA and FM games. He kills me every freaking time I play against him. I think it's time I just start buying the bastard.

He's worldclass in my game. He's the third most valuable player on the English national team, behind Welbeck and Rooney. Any incredibly fast striker with flair always seems to be able to perform in FM for me (case and point Febien Brandy who is an FM God when playing in the right formation).

What to do....what to do....

EDIT:

Took the job. I want to reach the top flight before FM 11 comes out, and in that regard, Dartford is nothing more than a launching platform. This is my chance.

Well I'm going up.

The twelve games I was in charge:

Unbeaten.

Definitely going to need to strengthen quite a bit. I've got two centerbacks coming in July 1, and I'm looking for a DM also. Been playing a 4-2-3-1 with MCs (but can also be DMs), probably going to stick with that, or at least a single striker setup.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

Well, after being forced to piece a team together with loans and a couple free transfers, I've brought Mangotsfield up to the Zamaretto Premier League!

What a long season. It seemed early on that a replay in the FA's cups was guaranteed. I am going to be completely blowing up the team as my three poison contracts are gone. Time to bring in some new blood to see if we can compete in the next level up.

If I would have lost in the playoff final after 62 matches of playing, I might have destroyed my keyboard and/or monitor:

At least I was able to get a job to get out of that league, and ended up skipping the Blue Square entirely.
