Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

Since I'll be going for HSV in the Bundesliga this year, I decided to start a save with them to get to know the team better.

Final qualifying round of the Europa League, we drew Teplic of the Czech Republic. Should be an easy win, right?

First match, away, we lose 2-0. I'm starting to sweat the return leg, gonna need at least a 2-0 win, hopefully 3. If they score we are all but out.

The squad came through in a big way.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

My first ever World Cup win in any FM!

I had to go through a Donovan-less USA in the quarters, a Messi-less Argentina in the semis, and a Rooney-less England in the finals. The squad was pretty old, with a 33 year old Captain Diego Lugano and a 35 year old Diego Forlan (only valued at, well, $0) leading the squad to victory. It was a brilliant all around team performance in the tournament, with everyone putting in classy performances.

I'd like to think of it more so as the number 1 USA national and number 13 South American manager of all-time foiled them!

After head coach Mowbray was sacked by Celtic in the game I went there to turn things around we are in third place down by the rangers in the standings by 3 points and Dundee in second place with one point up. I am really turning the club around. Here was my latest match

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

Just advanced to Scottish league cup finals, by beating Motherwell! We should have won 4-0 again but Boruc gave up 2 own goals. It was a little ridiculous.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

I got bored with just International Management (I had 85 days between games) so I unsettled some managers, and was giving the Wolverhampton job in the Championship.

I was giving a 4 year contract, with no expectations for the rest of this season.
