The Gold Standard - A 49ers Dynasty Madden 15

 photo 1.jpg">

Hi guys.. I am doing my first recorded dynasty. I have always given personalities and storylines to my players/teams, just never written them down. With my Niners enduring an epic meltdown this year, I thought it would be fun to take over the team from this point in the season, so I will be simming this first season for the most part, because where I want to take over is in the offseason as big changes are coming for the team, one way or the other. To make everything as realistic as possible regarding Kaep, I did lower his awr to a mere 60 and changed his sense pressure trait to paranoid. Also, as part of the story I have in my head, I must control a second team for the first season into the offseason. Many of you may not think that what major twist I have is realistic, i thought it would be a fun venture. And other than the one major thing, I will try to keep it as realistic as possible. Please join me for the ride!

Santa Clara, CA- A few weeks ago, everyone in the bay area was put on high alert for changes coming within the 49ers organization. Jed York's public apology via his Twitter account may be telling of a change of the guard forthcoming. Or it may mean nothing at all, given the nature of the young owner. He seems to be a figure that is just a name rather than a shot caller. I know he carries the title of CEO/Owner, but he has let GM Trent Baalke run the show for him early on in his tenure as managing owner.
Reports have swirled of an impending breakup for the York family business. Several media outlets, including ESPN and Bleacher Report, have released reports of Michigan contacting Harbaugh to gauge his interest. Jed York's career could very well be determined by the changes made in the coming offseason, as 2014 is a major disappointment. In an all or nothing season, it looks like the Niners have come up on the nothing side of things. We will certainly keep you posted as it appears to be a very interesting close to the season, and beginning of the offseason.

BREAKING NEWS

ESPN's Chris Mortensen has heard from multiple sources that New Engand Patriots head man, Bill Belichick, seriously contemplated retirement this past off-season. Owner Robert Kraft was able to retain him, but reports are that this may be a final ride for the man that dons the hoodie in Foxboro. This report certainly has the sports world on pins and needles, as Belichick is one of the few "Legendary" coaches roaming the sidelines these days. It would be a true disappointment to see him retire, but if your heart isn't in it, it just isn't in it.

We did manage to catch up with Tom Brady to get his reaction to the news.

"Retirement is when you can relax, and right now, I know Coach isn't relaxing or taking it easy, retirement isn't on his mind. He's got his ears pinned back, looking to get back to the big game.Thats all our focus right now. I'm not sure where you would hear such a rumor to begin with, maybe you should question you "sources". If Coach were wanting to ride off in the sunset, he would've done it already. His focus is right where it needs to be, on San Diego."

Ahmad Brooks Cut by Niners

Santa Clara, CA- The first domino has fallen. After getting benched in their game versus the Redskins, then not playing a single snap in the Raiders gme, you knew there had to be something going on behind the scenes. Early reports were that Ahmad Brooks had missed a team meeting, which had caught the ire of Jim Harbaugh, but now he has been cut by the team. The team gave no official statement regarding the move, which may be the most telling sign. If it were single move, you would expect the team to document that. This leads me to believe just the first domino has fallen in the "Saga by the Bay".
