"I Bleed Blue" (A Boise State NCAA14 Dynasty)

XBOX 360
OS Community Rosters
8 min Quarters on AA Sliders with adjustments.
I will be relocating schools, in almost every conference, as I look to increase the difficulty of the MWC, as well as other conferences as well
.

I plan to import these draft class's to my Any Given Sunday thread, and maybe to my Beauty and the Beast thread for Madden 25. However decisions I make in this thread will go along with the story created for the Any Given Sunday Thread.

I do plan on taking OS Community Recruits as well. Limiting it to 5 per season and to those who follow/comment the most.

For those who have followed my past College thread from 2011 "I Bleed Orange and Blue" you know I am a huge BSU fan. With this Dynasty I will be taking over as the Offensive Coordinator, however the storyline could lead to Coach Peterson leaving with my created coach taking over, or it could lead to by coach leaving for a new school, running a 2-team dynasty together which I did back in 2011. I didn't buy NCAA13, so it's been over a year since posting college football, and even longer since my first love (College Hoops) but I am excited to be back.

Boise State finished 2012 with alot of question marks. Would Coach Chris Peterson be returning for his 8th season. With a 84-8 record, Peterson has been one of the hottest names every time a school has a coaching vacancy..

Could QB Joe Southwick erase memories of the best QB (Kellen Moore) ever to step on the Blue Turf?

Who is going to be the next great back to step into the shoes of Brock Forsey, Ian Johnson, Doug Martin and DJ Harper?

Can the Offense continue to put up enough points to outscore their opponents as a very young Defense learns on the job?

Is Robert Price the right guy to run the "Greatest Show on Blue Turf"?

QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED

COACH PETE RETURNS

Well a 11-2 record was a disappointment to Coach Chris Peterson, the BSU players and the fans, a win over Washington in the Las Vegas Bowl, left everyone wanting something more in 2013. After turning down offers to leave for schools like Wisconsin, UCLA, Arkansas, Cal, Auburn, Tennessee, and Colorado, Peterson will indeed be back in Boise as he signs a new contract that will pay him 2 million per season and keep him at BSU until 2017.

Peterson-
Quote:
Our conference is what it is. We can't change that. We have proven here in Boise, that we just need to focus on 1 thing, and that's winning football games. With wins comes Top-25 ranking and well we thought we were good enough in 2009 (14-0) to play for a National Title, we still got a chance to play in a BCS Bowl game and that is our goal again

SOUTHWICK RETURNS TO LEAD THE TEAM

Trying to step into the shoes of not just the greatest QB ever to play on "The Blue", but also the guy who left college with the most wins in the record book, expectations where high for Joe Southwick in 2012. Instead of greatness, many BSU fans felt like Southwick was just a "Average Joe", after watching him throw for 2730 yards 19 TD's and 7 INT's. However over the course of the last 4 games including the bowl win over Washington, Southwick threw for 888 yards 9 TD's and 0 INT's leading some to believe he still has the talent for greatness.

CAN JAY AJAY BE THE NEXT GREAT RB?

Well Southwick has to follow in the footsteps of Moore, Ajay might have even bigger shoes to fill, as he looks to become the next great Bronco RB. Brock Forsey, Ian Johnson, Jeremy Avery, Doug Martin and DJ Harper have all proven over the past 10 years to be some of the most talented backs in the nation. Martin is now a starter in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buc's, and Ajay has his sights set on the same thing.

Since arriving in Boise from Texas, Ajay at first had some troubles, leading some to think he might never make it on the field, but after redshirting in 2011, Ajay added 45 lbs and a inch of height and is now 6'0 and 220 lbs of power running. He proved why he was recruited finishing 2012 with 548 yards and 4 TD's on 82 carries finishing with a school record of 6.68 yards per rush. His highlight game was vs New Mexico when he carried the ball 6 times for 118 yards including a 71 yard TD run.

Now as a RS Sophomore, Ajay will look to see if he can set a few more school records of his own.

Re: "I Bleed Blue" (A Boise State NCAA14 Dynasty)

BOISE STATE HIRES NEW OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR!!

When Brian Harsin left to become the Co-Offensive Coordinator for Texas (now the new HC at Arkansas State), the Broncos turned to Brent Pease. Then when Pease left to take the same job for the Florida Gators, Coach Peterson turned to former Wide receivers coach Robert Prince. Prince however struggled with extensive BSU playbook and it was rumored that the Broncos would dump he Offensive that has seen them score more points then any other college team over the past 10 seasons, instead going with a hurry up spread/read option concept. Instead Boise State has announced that Prince will instead be replaced by a a completely unkown. Ryne Dezaron is just 37, he grew up just 40 minutes north of Boise in Fruitland Idaho, a school known for its outstanding 3A football.

However what must be explained is Ryne was born with a gift.. The gift, "Total Recall". No matter what Dezaron reads, see's or hears he memorizes it. It was this gift that allowed him to memorize the entire BSU playbook and in his interview with Coach Pete, repeat every play that the Broncos have run in the past 10 years, recounting scores, wins, loses, recruits that signed and those who never were...

Some say having a Coach with such a gift is unfair. Some believe Dezaron should use this gift for something more. However for Ryne, this is all he ever wanted to do, and that my friend is to be a Football coach. Not just any football coach though. He wants to be the greatest Football mind to ever put on a headset, and he is excited to start his career at the team he grew up watching and cheering on every Saturday. His Boise State Broncos, for his man "Bleeds Blue"
