Stamford University White Knights (TB) (2011)

White Knight Football
2010-2011 Regular Season Record (1-0-0)
All- Time School Record (0-0-0)

This is a fictional University based in Stamford Connecticut. My roster contains 2 seniors who are 80 overall and they are my best players, they are my running back and Wide Receiver. I have one good freshman recruit on each side of the ball which would be Left Tackle Tyler Galazin (77 Overall) and Jon Revis (77 Overall.) This is a 1 star school and most of the starters are 60-65 Overall on Defense and 65-70 Overall on Offense besides the ones mentioned above. I will start right away once NCAA 2011 is released first day, for now i will be giving a little bit of a back story on the players and team.

Move Up to 1-A

"Breaking news today, Stamford University's bid to move up to 1-A NCAA Football has been accepted. After displaying a incredible 12-0 Season and FCS National Championship it is clear that they deserve to be playing at another level. This however may not be so good as the Loved White Knights based out of Southern Connecticut lost 20 starters last season leaving them with a inexperienced and seemingly less talented, roster than any other team in the 1-A Division.

We also found out today from the press conference with Head Coach Darren Galazin that the White Knights will start out playing in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) replacing the lack-luster Eastern Michigan who's football team had its funding revoked. I am not expecting miracles this year, but I am hoping for a bright future in White Knight Football.

Expect more Articles leading up to the College Football Season, We will be back with more on the complete starting roster and a the profiles for all of the Starting Players this year. I for one cannot wait to see the option attack of Stamford University Reign Supreme!"

Re: Stamford University White Knights (TB) (2011)

Head Coach Darren Galazin (Rookie) "Stamford University White Knights"
Offensive Style Flexbone/ Heavy Option Attack
Defensive Style 3-4/Bear/5-2 With a lot of Heavy Blitzing.
Age 26 Years Old
Personality Hot-Headed, Smart, and Defensive Genius

Stamford Advocate
-Richard Moss

"A Little About the Coach"
"Little can be said about the new rookie head coach of the White Knights. He grew up in Stamford Connecticut playing offensive tackle for Stamford High School for 4 years, but lacking the skill to play at the next level. He went on to the University of Connecticut where he studied computer science and was offered a assistant job for the offensive lineman after meeting with Head Coach Nick Swisher. As the years went by he rose fast and was offered the Head Coach Job for the White Knights, and what a glorious occasion for him to back in his home time.

As far as we have heard it seems that the Rookie Head Coach likes to run a conservative option attack, attempting to tire out the oppositions defense, with short bruising runs. He is a very aggressive defensive play-caller who loves to bring Safeties and Corners into the blitzing game. Fair warning for what ever Quarterback plays the White Knights, be prepared to run away, A lot.

Re: Stamford University White Knights (TB) (2011)

Important Players (2010-2011) (Offense)

Matthew McKnight Starting Quarterback
Year: Junior 40 Time: 4.825s
Height: 6'1 Weight: 220
Hometown: Stamford, CT Number: 7
Backstory
Hometown hero who brought Stamford High 2 State Championships in his his 4 years of starting. In division one he doesn't quite fit in with the big dogs. He is average at best compared to the rest of the conference, and hes not too fast either, not enough to be benificial to this option attack.

Joe Heath Starting Half-Back
Year: Senior 40 Time: 4.615s
Height: 6'0 Weight: 207
Hometown: Norwalk, CT Number: 32
Backstory
Another Connecticut born star, looking to make a big impact this year on the field. He is the only returning starter on offense from last years undefeated run, and is an absolute monster. He may not be the fastest or most agile running back but when he hits you, you will feel it and regret meeting him in the field. Early Projection to go in the 6th-7th round of NFL draft.

Eric Sampson Starting Tight-End
Year: Junior 40 Time: 4.752s
Height: 6'7 Weight: 239
Hometown: Boston, MA Number: 80
Backstory
Junior transfer student from UCONN, he played football in high school and was a great athlete but lacked the Football awareness that the big schools needed him to have, so he ended up playing Basketball for 2 years at Connecticut. After meeting with Coach Darren Galazin he transfered to Stamford University to do some damage catching the ball.

Maurice Coker Starting Wide Reciever
Year: Senior 40 Time: 4.801s
Height: 6'4 Weight: 222
Hometown: Springfield, MA Number: 20
Backstory
Tall, Possession reciever with great jumping ability to make plays. Hands down the best Wide Reciever on the team. Played slot last year making some elecrifying plays. Depending on how he plays this year against top of the line cornerbacks will be the deciding factor if he plays at the next level.

Tyler Galazin Starting Left Tackle
Year: Freshman 40 Time: 5.211
Height: 6'5 Weight: 305
Hometown: Stamford, CT Number: 78
Backstory
Listed as the 5th best Left Tackle in the 2010 Freshman class. Who will recieve the starting job right away protecting starting Quarterback McKnights blind side. He is Darren Galazin's brother which explains how he landed such a fabulous recruit. He has NFL Left Tackle written all over him, and soon enough he will carry this offensive line to victory.

Re: Stamford University White Knights (TB) (2011)

Important Players (2010-2011) (Defense)

Jon Revis Starting Cornerback
Year: Freshman 40 Time: 4.521
Height: 6'2 Weight: 175
Hometown: Aliquippa, PA Number: 21
Backstory
The best recruit landed by the White Knights last season. He is a very athletically gifted corner who will be a big playmaker starting out as a freshman. A lot of scouts are raving about him being a top pick in the draft depending on if he gets the proper training and produces well. He has all the tools to be as good as his older brother who is regarded as the best corner in the NFL right now.

Austin Gray Starting ILB
Year: Freshman 40 Time: 4.742
Height: 5'11 Weight: 228
Hometown: Cape Coral, FL Number: 34
Backstory
Played Fullback in highschool, due to him being severely undersized it didnt get any heat from division one schools. Coach Galazin is going to attempt converting him to a middle linebacker. He has the speed and agility to make plays out there. Hopefully he will have the skill set to stand up to MAC offenses. As of right now he has the athletism to be a force but he is still a big question mark.

Nathan Gallagher Starting NT
Year: Junior 40 Time: 5.132
Height: 6'3 Weight: 336
Hometown: Bridgeport, CT Number: 62
Backstory
This Monster is the reason coach Galazin decided to run a 3-4 this season. He may be big and slow but it will take 2 people to block him on every down. He is a captain on Defense and has a very big heart to go with his extremely large size. He may not be pro material, but he will be a very good starter for the White Knights. Another knock on him is that he also gets tired faster than you would want your NT too.
