NCAA 10 Coach/CAP signups

Hey to anyone reading this. I found these forums a while back after a few hours of binge drinking, and I've been silently following a couple dynasties and such (mostly football and basketball), and since I have way too much time on my hands, I decided I'd take a swing at one myself.

What I want to do is exactly what the title says, and sim through a NCAA 10 dynasty with a few coaches (for now, I'm thinking 5) and some football stars as well. For the coaches, I'd give more or less a team breakdown preseason, and in increments of about 4 weeks or so, with 2 post-season updates, before and after the bowl season starts. Of course, there would be a few updates in the offseason as well (players leaving, recruiting, etc.)

For players, much of the same, only on a more individual level. Which brings me to actually getting people interested, of course. If that is you, then just reply to this with the signup. If you want a coach and a player, that's fine, but for at least the beginning, I ask that if you sign up for an athlete that you wait a couple of seasons before asking for another.

With that, here is the signup:

Coach:

Name:
Preferred School: (1-3* to start)
Dream Job: (Where you want to be, ex. USC, SEC, etc.)
Background:
Offensive Playbook:
Defensive Playbook:
Tendencies (Run/Pass, Conservative/Agressive)
If there's anything I'm forgetting, just put it here

Player: (Overall rating will be determined by luck of the draw)

Name:
Hometown:
Height/Weight:
Skin Tone:
Preferred #:
Position:
3 Best Attributes:
2 Worst Attributes:
Accessories: (Helmet, Gloves, etc....anything other than default)
Again, if I missed something, put it here.

Like I said, I'm looking for at most 5 coaches, and somewhere between 4-6 athletes to start. There will be signups at the end of each season, but the number will depend on a number of things, the biggest being how many players go pro at any time.

Coaches:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Athletes:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Re: NCAA 10 Coach/CAP signups

Background of Carswell:

Jim Carswell was born in August of 1964, he was born and raised in Fortworth TX. He attended Highschool at Fortworth Academy from 1979-1982 where he played football as a quarterback and won a state title his Junior year in 81. He set only one record while at Fortworth with being the only quarterback to throw the most td passes in a season with 62. Upon graduation and being granted the prospect rating of a 4 star QB out of Highschool he had top offers from big time programs. Carswell decided though to pass on all the fame and glory because he was said to be to small to play qb at a major level being he was 6'1 180, so he decided to go play at the Divison II school of Texas State.

While at Texas State from 1983-1986, Carswell led them to one Championship game and 3 winning seasons. Though he never won a title while there he is remembered as being the winningnest QB of all time at the school. Playing in all 53 games during his stint he had a record of 46-7!! He also threw for 123 TD's and had 13,348 yds passing. So needless to say he was quite an athlete while in college. Also at State he met his sweetheart and now wife Diane Carswell.

When Carswell graduated he worked in his field of sports medicine for local Highschools and waited on Diane to graduate. Then when Carswell was 25 he and Diane got married and he as well began his coaching career. His alma mater conctacted him to come and be there Offensive Coordinator. He gladly accepted and coached there from 1989-1992.

In 1992, Diane and Jim moved to a small town known as Rockwall Texas. They also were expecting there first child and in the winter of 1992 Travis Carswell was born. Durig that time though Jim was granted the Headcoaching job at Rockwall Highschool. He coached there and Diane was a head nurse at the local hospital.
Then in 1993 they had another child and he was to be known as Brandon Carswell. Jim and Diane had some good income so needless to say they were pretty wealthy and lived the good life so to speak.

From 1992 til 1999 Jim coached at Rockwall, then in 2000 he was offered the head coaching job at a Division II School. He gladly accepted and coached there from 2000 up until his first son Travis entered highschool in 2007 then he returned to Rockwall so he could coach his boys. In 2008 his other son Brandon entered Rockwall Highschool, the season before Rockwall had a record of 6-4 where they lost in the first round of the playoffs.

Now it's 2008, Travis(Soph) is at WR and Brandon(Fresh) is at QB these two are very talented kids just like there dad was. #3 Brandon Carswell and #9 Travis Carswell are highly touted to take Rockwall to a state Championship that season and thats just what they done losing only one game which was the title game. The next year they win the title game and the 2 of them snap a lot of records along the way.

Now it's 2010 Travis's Senior year and Brandons Junior Year, the tandem has tore defenses apart in years past and this is the final year for Travis and he wants another title. Season goes with out ? they make it to the title game a perfect 10-0. Then in the 3rd Quarter Travis goes down with an injury to his hand and they end up losing the game 24-14.

Travis Graduates and has his eyes set on goign to play for the Texas Longhorns. Brandon yet has his senior year left at Rockwall where they are favorties to repeat to the State Title.

School: Tennessee
Dream Job: Texas

Re: NCAA 10 Coach/CAP signups

Ok, so here's the updated list.

Coaches
1. Justin Bolt - North Texas
2. Darius Butler - Arkansas State
3. John Randolph - Rutgers

Players
1. Titarius Rolle - WR
2. John Randolph II - QB
3. John Weller - HB

Also, Trakan.....that was a lot of background, but I'm not sure who exactly what you wanted to do with it, a coach or player...if you could clear that up, you will be added to the list.

Re: NCAA 10 Coach/CAP signups

Thanks, Trakan. As promised, the once-more updated list.

Coaches
1. Justin Bolt - North Texas
2. Darius Butler - Arkansas State
3. John Randolph - Rutgers
4. Jim Carswell - Tennessee

Players
1. Titarius Rolle - WR
2. John Randolph II - QB
3. John Weller - HB
4. Brandon Carswell - QB

Ok, so here's the bigger update. I'd like to have one more coach sign up before I start, but it's not going to be a dynasty killer if I don't. The same thing for players, I'd like a couple more before I start but it's not gonna slow things down any.

I'll keep the signups up until the weekend, so that's when I'm planning on starting this up.
