Okay. So I started my 1st Dynasty with Boise State as a OC and well it was amazing being able to play with Jeanty and help guide the Broncos to the playoffs just like IRL and to help guide them to a National Title before leaving for TTU, I just felt like I accomplished to much to fast, and missed out on the funs years of really building up a G5 school into a Top-25 program and really feeling that true accomplishment of having to battle week in and week out to get the "W".

So this time around in Part II, I am going to start my career in 2025 after doing a sim in 2024 to try and replicate for the most part everything that happened in real life. I can't control the transfer portal so there will still be guy's on rosters of their original teams that won't be in 2025 but that's okay. It's still a fictional video game dynasty.

I will also be creating some new Conferences this time around...I really like what I came up with so there is that..

Also because recruiting is pretty easy in this game, I am going to limit myself with the following rules.

For my starting out school I am taking over a school that is a 1 1/2 star, that hasn't been to a Bowl game since 2018 and hasn't won a conference title since 2010.

My recruiting restrictions are.

I can recruit up to 3-4* players each season as long as they are instate players who have my school in their Top-10, and preference will be given to those who have me in their Top-5..

3*-I can recruit as many 3*'s as I want as long as they are instate and can only recruit other 3* who are in my Top-5 until I have either turned my school into a full 3* program or until I have won a Conference title/Bowl game.

Once I have won either a Conference Title or Bowl game, I can add 1 more 4* for each title or bowl game I win until I reach a max of 8. Once I have won 8 titles/Bowl games, I will then give myself the ability to recruit 2-5* Recruits.

If I make the playoffs that actually=2 bowl games, it speeds up the process. If my team makes back to back playoff appearances its like equal to 5 bowl wins and a trip to the Semi Finals would be= to 8 wins thus also allowing the 2-5* recruits. If I win a National Title it triggers a bonus with the ability to sign up to 5-5* Recruits.

I am going to be starting my Dynasty in CUSA. The way I have my Conferences set up, I feel my starting team has the ability to be recruited by the ACC/SEC/or Pac-12. However I will not be moving the team until they have won at least 5 CUSA titles or a National Title.

Also I can't take a new job until my coach has won at least 2 CSUA titles or has at least 3 straight seasons of 8 wins or more.




2* players I can recruit any 2* players across the nation regardless of Pipeline as long as I start in their Top-10 at the beginning of the season.

Once my 35 player Recruiting Board is set, I can not replace any of the 4*'s that sign else with other 4* unsigned. Those spots become spots for the transfer portal.

Once a 2/3* player signs elsewhere in season, I am only able to add players to my board of the same rating 2*/3* until Week 12. After Week 12 any player who signs elsewhere that spot become a open roster/scholarship for potential transfer portal finds.

I can only sign a max of 10 transfers per season and I can only encourage/cut up to 5 players per season keeping me from .

Scholarship offers I can only offer scholarships to the # of Seniors I have graduating plus 5. If a player I offer a scholarship signs elsewhere early then that scholarship can be redirected to one of the 35 players on my recruiting board.

More rules might follow if things become to easy.. Last Dynasty I ended up with Top-5 Recruiting class's in 15 of my 18 seasons and had the #1 like 10 times. I don't want to repeat the same thing.

Florida International announces Head Coaching change for the 2025 season.

After 3 straight 4-8 seasons, FIU has decided to part ways with Coach Mike MacIntyre..

Reports coming out of the Miami Herald was FIU was interviewing 2 candidates.. Duke RB Coach Mike Simmons who also had previously coached at Florida A&M and played at Clemson and Boise State WR/Passing Game Coordinator Matt Miller, the former Boise State Bronco WR and Montana State OC and Recruiting Coordinator.

FIU makes it official and hires Boise State's Matt Miller. (Miller was one of my favorite Broncos of All-time.. He was one of the first players to really make #2 (my jersey # as well) really mean something at BSU.. It's been cool to see others make it special too like Jeanty this past season..)



A native of Helena, Montana, Miller was a three-sport star at Capital High School. His athleticism caught the attention of then-Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino, a Capital High alumni and former teammate of Miller's father. A highly touted recruit, he received offers to play college football from schools such as Oregon, Oregon State, and Boise State and also received offers to play college basketball at Montana and Montana State. He committed to playing college football at Boise State on Christmas Day in 2009.

At Boise State, Miller redshirted the 2010 season after tearing an Achilles tendon in fall camp. As a redshirt freshman, Miller set single season freshman records for the program including receptions (62), receiving yards (679), and receiving touchdowns (9) en route to freshman All-America honors in 2011. By the time his college career ended in 2014, Miller was Boise State's career leader in receptions and second all-time in receiving yards. Miller had a professional tryout with the Denver Broncos before injuries ended his playing career.
After his playing career ended, Miller spent 2015 at Boise State as an offensive quality control coach. He was hired as the receivers coach at Montana State in 2016 and added the title of recruiting coordinator in 2017. He was promoted to offensive coordinator and reassigned to quarterbacks coach midway through the 2018 season, and held that role for the 2019 season as well
Miller returned to his alma mater Boise State in 2020 as their wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator, where he has been for the past 4 seasons including the 2024 season where he helped Boise State make a return trip to the Fiesta Bowl and a matchup with Penn State..

FIU AD Deuce Young "Well Coach Miller is young (33 yrs old), he has a pretty extensive coach career and has the opporutnity to work with alot of great HC's. Coach Mac was right we need to score more points and last I checked Boise State knows how to score points.. We are exctied for what Matt is going to bring to the table."

Last seasons BSU averaged 37 points well going 12-1 winning the MWC title and earning the #3 seed in the playoffs and a Fiesta Bowl matchup with Penn State.

FIU however managed just 24 points a game despite over 3712 yds of Total Offense (2544 yds Passing, 975 rushing).

2024 RECAP

The 2024 season went pretty much as close to a real life duplication as I could make it.

Boise State actually earned the #4 seed and would meet Penn State in the Fiesta Bowl falling (28-26) earning the chance to play #1 Oregon in the Semin Finals where Oregon pulled out a (45-42) win.

(Dillion Gabriel actually won the Heisman and pretty much every award in this sim)

The Ducks would then meet up against Texas in the Natty and pulled out the win (42-28)..

MAJOR CHANGES FOR 2025

With several of the Mountain West Schools like Boise State, Colorado State and Utah State tied up in court room battles with the MWC Commish, all parties agreed to drop the lawsuits if the move to the Pac-12 could be moved up 1 year.

With Colorado State, Utah State, Boise State, San Diego State and Fresno State joining Oregon State and Washington State to form a 7 team Pac-12, the conference needed 5 more teams to have any chance at making it a Power 5 instead of a Power 4.

They accomplished the feat but going back to the MWC and stealing 1 more team as UNLV also makes the jump leaving the MWC behind well also adding Tulane, USF, UTSA and a very surprising move UCF..

The new Pac 12 will now look like this..

Tulane, USF, UCF, UTSA, UNLV, Colorado State
Oregon State, Washington State, Boise State, Utah State, San Diego State and Fresno State.


With 6 teams leaving the Mountain West, we see a major overhaul

the 6 remaining teams will be in 1 Division "The OG's"
Air Force, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, San Jose State and Wyoming

They will be joined by "New Kid's on the Block"
New Mexico State, North Texas, Sam Houston State, Texas State, UTEP and Tulsa.

Now with the American, CUSA and Sun Belt all having teams poached by these 2, here is a look at what is happening with these 3.

American

Despite losing some of it's Top teams, the American actually comes out pretty solid adding former Big 12 member Cincinnati as well as 2 former Big 10 members in Northwestern and Purdue. They also add Northern Illinois out of the MAC, UConn from the Indy as well as a few lateral moves from teams from CUSA and the Sunbelt. Here is a complete look

Cincinnati will join Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Northern Illinois, Northwestern and Purdue in 1 Division (still need cool names)

Army, Navy, Temple are joined by UConn, Western Kentucky and Southern Miss.

SUNBELT

UAB, La Tech, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State are now headed to the Sunbelt, joining Arkansas State, Georgia Southern Georgia State, Louisiana, South Alabama, Troy and UL Monroe

With 11 teams in the Conference there are no divisions.

MAC/INDY

UMass left the Independent to take N. Illinois spot in the Mac leaving Norte Dame as the last Indy.

CUSA

Conference USA gets pretty much a all new look which will feature teams from the Carolina's, Virginia and Florida.

FIU and FAU are back together again as they will start up a heated rivalry with each other.

Appalachian State, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina and East Carolina will look to do the same.

As will James Madison, Marshall, Liberty and Old Dominion.

With 10 teams in CUSA, the conference has elected to have everyone play each other with 9 games in conference allowing for 3 games out of conference each season.

ACC

The Power 4 were not safe from changes.. Cal and Stanford both learned being the only 2 schools in the ACC sucked for travel and are swapping spots with Maryland and Rutgers as they head to the Big Ten to be paired up with former Pac-12 school members USC, UCLA, Washington and Oregon.

SMU after making it to the Conference Championship and losing to Clemson is jumping ship and headed to the Big 12 where they will replace West Virginia in a swap..

THE NEW BIG TEN

With Purdue out as well as Northwestern, the changes didn't stop there.. We also saw Iowa make a move to the Big 12......... Here is a look at the new divisions.

Indiana and and Nebraska will join the former Pac-12 schools Cal, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, USC and Washington in 1 Division

Well Pitt joins the OG's of the Big Ten with Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin.

THE NEW BIG 12

Arizona and Arizona State will play in the Lonestar Division joining 6 Texas schools as Rice and SMU join up with Houston, TCU, TTU and Baylor.

Iowa joins the Midwest Division with Iowa State, Kansas, K-State, BYU, Utah, Colorado and Oklahoma State.

THE SEC

The SEC didn't add or subtract any teams, but they create divisions.

Alabama and Auburn will join Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vandy.

Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, will play with Missouri, Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss and Miss State

All Power 4 conference with 16 teams will now be required to play 10 of their 12 games vs conference opponents. Hoping it will maybe limit how many of them schedule FCS programs.

All the rest of the conferences will play 9 games against conference opponents with 3 out of conference games.

**At some point I might try and add 4 more teams to the Pac-12 to create them into a Power 4/5 conference again, but my plan is to leave these conference the same for at least 4 years before making any changes..**

**This Class is about where I would like to keep most of them moving forward. With all the transfers I only have 9 Seniors on my roster for next season, but I also only have 69 players giving me 16 roster spots and the ability to sign a 25-30 player class if needed. However I also only have 11 Juniors, 15 Soph's and a combined 34 RS/True Freshman.**

With 8 games at home, the schedule is favorable for Coach Miller to get the Panthers over the hump and into a Bowl game after a 7 year drought.

Liberty (82 Overall) and Marshall (80) are the favorites to win the conference but FIU has a solid shot at finishing in the Top half and making a bowl run. Also UCF (80 Ovr) and USF (81 Ovr) I believe are winnable games. If we can can get a win over 1 of them I think that would be what it takes to get 6 wins.

My contract goal is actually just 4 wins, but FIU has been 4-8 the past 3 years after going 1-11 in 2021 and 0-5 in 2020. The last time they finished above .500 and won a Bowl game was 2018 when they went 9-4.

QUARTERBACK

Keyone Jenkins removing himself from the Portal was huge. He will be a 3rd year starter who last year threw for 2544 yds with 23 TD's and just 5 INT's. He also ran for 246 yds and 3 TD's.

RS FR Clayton Dees will be QB2. He actually has a higher THP (92 vs 88) then Jenkins and could see the field when we need to throw a hail mary deep.

3*'s John Slye and Victor Ojukqwu will redshirt and challenge Dee's for QB2 next year or the starting job once Jenkins leaves.

RUNNINGBACK/FULLBACK

Shomari Lawrence had 3 carries for 11 yds last year but did manage 2 TD's. He will be the primary RB, with TJ Snowden as the #2 for now. Both Jalen Haslam and Major Benshaw were 3* Athletes who will at least play the first 4 games on the Return team and will also push Snowden for some backup carries. I might Redshirt 1 or both of them after the USF game if I don't have any injuries the rest of the year.

Antonio Ferguson was a TE that converted to FB.

WIDE RECEIVER/TIGHT END

The Top-5 WR's from last year either graduated or transfered leaving RS SO JuJu Lewis and Kyle McNeal as the #1/#2, despite neither recording a catch last year. True Freshman Faitele Okwara and Kevin Osgood will battle each other for the #3/4 role. McNeal has the best hands of the group (85 catch) and will most likely play the slot role. Okwara is 6'4 and could be a Redzone threat.

SR Rocky Beers is the returning leader of this group. He had 34 receptions for 285 yds with 3 TD's last season. True Freshman Wayne Gutierrez is a converted WR to TE who could move back to WR next season if we can land some quality TE in next years recruiting class.

O-LINE

The O-line is anchored by SR LT Travis Burke and JR RT Jaleel Davis.. SO Daniel Michel is currently listed as the backup to both, but he could also slide into the starting role at LG. With the Top-2 Centers on last year's roster both hitting the portal, SR Ming Tjon takes over.

D-LINE

SR Eddie Walls III is the star of this Defense. A transfer from Bethume-Cookman last year, Walls III finished with a team high 11 sacks. I was afraid he was going to hit the portal but he stayed. He will be the primary player I play with on Defense.

LINEBACKER

This Unit needs help in a big way. SO Josiah Taylor was a stud in the spring game (training went from a 67 to a 78).

DEFENSIVE BACKFIELD

SR CB Brian Blades II is the son of former Miami Hurricane and Seattle Seahawk Brian Blades. His dad won a Natty in 1987.. I don't think #2 is going to do the same. Like Walls he is another player I am glad didn't hit the Portal. He had 48 Tackles with 1 INT last season.

RS FR Raheim Sexil was another stud in the spring game (training jumping from a 68 to a 78). He will push RS SO Mister Clark for the starting job opposite Blades II. "Mr" Clark had 2 INT's last season as a Redshirt Freshman.

The rest of the unit is young and untested. Blades 48 Tackles is the returning leader and after him and Walls, Mr Clark's 23 tackles was the next highest on the team.


SPECIAL TEAMS
**Both my PK and Punter are True Freshman. They were 3* Recruits already on the Recruiting board when I took over. All I did was offer a scholarship. Which is good I caught it because the first time on my save file I didn't and ended up with 45 Overall Walkons at each position.**

I am a little surprised at how low Georgia is. They signed the #1 Recruiting Class landing (8) 5* Recruits.

Cool to see Boise State and Texas Tech starting out this Dynasty in the Top-25 but will be interesting to see how they both fair without Coach Scott's abilities.
