Late Season ESPN Auction League (Test)

Hey guys, just looking to see if anyone would be interested in joining an auction league for the 2nd half of the season? I'm looking for 10 teams (including me) to join. I'm really using this to test out some categories for my local league but I will still like some guys who would want to compete and have fun.

I've never used an auction draft before so it's all new to me so if you have experience and want to take advantage of a rookie please come on!

Now the scoring format is going to be pretty unique I think, I'm trying to do the best to simulate real football so QBs are going to matter a lot more and I'm also including more FLEX positions including 6 IDPs (DL, LB, DB). Also, the kicker is going to matter a little more but hopefully in a fun way. The idea is more football players playing means more opportunities to watch football and enjoy your team.

QBs
I think with this format QBs could potentially score anywhere from 20 points in a poorer performance to 80 points for an elite performance (ex. Mahomes and Lamar Week 7). But considering more players are starting including 3 Flexes, I'm hoping a poor performance from a QB could still be saved by the rest of your team, or a good performance might not necessarily automatically win you the matchup. The goal is for most winning teams to score around 200 points.

IDP
I'm going with the IDP123 scoring system which seems to help the best defensive players standout and get close to a really good offensive player points wise. I'm choosing 2 DL, 2 LB, and 2 DB.

Kicker
Ok, so recently my local league got rid of kicker which we enjoy but when trying to simulate football, whether we like it or not, kickers are a big part of the NFL. I decided to try out penalizing kickers because I think it could make it a lot more fun that a kick actually has risk to it, whether it's yours or your opponent's. However I'm going to make it where the longer the FG try the less points lost for a miss. Also kickers get just as many yards as anyone else including the 3 points, I'll explain this next.

Yards
Football is a game of inches, so every yard counts the same where it can and seems reasonable. This includes QBs, Kickers and if you have anyone that returns punts/kicks, them as well. Returners actually don't get that many chances with the new rules and better punters in today's game but if someone you have breaks one that brings another element to the game that can be fun to watch even if they don't necessarily score.

So I think that's it and I've posted more settings below. Again, this is really an experiment, especially considering we are in the middle of the season now, but if you want to try some fun just post here and I'll send you an invite via PM! Would love to have the draft tomorrow to start for Week 8 but if we can't get that in maybe it'll be Week 9 instead. I think considering there isn't enough time for everyone to play each other, I'm going to split into 2 divisions with division winners and top 2 Wild Cards making the Playoffs (4 teams).
