NFL 2K22 Roster + Franchise based on Madden 2022

This file is based off Madden 22 launch ratings using automation tools. (no manual edits)

I simulated the franchise file out to 2026 without any issues. If you run into any issues, please share enough details (team, player, etc.), so that we can correct them.

What of the "updated player photos," though? Are they supposed to be actual new player photos like from the texture update, or just close to match? Part of the reason I ask is because Trevor Lawrence is black in his photo. Just wondering how these came to be.

Those names seem to only register for me when looking at the schedule in franchise mode. I haven't seen it anywhere else (so far). They don't show up in game that way, at least not on the score bug.

Hmm, it seems another place where "San Diego" is replaced with "L.A." is in the name of colleges. I had a player out of San Diego State who is now now of "L.A. State." That's a bummer if I end up creating myself as well, as that is my alma mater.

I confirmed the hex edits for the ros and fran files are accurate to what was applied and mentioned for the city edits. If you are seeing "L.A." city changes, that's not my roster file. I replaced as mentioned in the notes "Updated City for OAK, STL, SD teams (L.Vegas Raiders, L.Angeles Chargers, L.Angeles Rams)". (see rams example attached)

Player photo replacement for the texture mod will be worked on after the week 1 ratings become available from the madden ratings site.

If you are on PCSX2 Its not hard to assign the real player photos, it's just time consuming. The NFL2k22 resurrection mod comes with all the player photos dds files they just aren't assigned in the YAML file. I've been going through and assigning them to this roster.. Here is how I did it:

Open PCSX2 and go to the video config and make sure the "dump" box is checked.

Open the game and load Packers roster. I went to the Colts then looked at the QB's. Once youve looked at them in the roster they auto dump the photo into the "dump" folder of the 2k22 Resurrection mod folders.

If you go into that dump folder you will see the photo that has been assigned to that player. Lets use Carson Wentz as an example. I went to him in game in the roster view and he has a look alike red head photo assigned to him in this roster. I went into the dump folder and saw the same red head photo I just saw in game. Take note of the name of the photo in the dump folder. You now know what that file name is called and you can assign it to Carson Wentz's real photo in the YAML file.


So again in Carson Wentz's example his look alike photo in the dump folder is called 4EA93D1D.dds

I now open the YAML file with the free Notepad++ program. In that YAML file I created a new heading between #menu and #berman called #photos.

Under that I put the address needed to replace the look alike photo with Carson wentz's real photo from the "photos file that is included in the 2k22 resurrection mod which is: 0x4EA93D1D: "@COM/2k5/photos/QB_CarsonWentz.dds"

You just do that for every player. It sounds way worse than it is. A team takes me less than an hour.

I had this happen in my panthers franchise. 4th game against the cowboys. They signed a new center. Lol a huge man as you can see. What sucks is i keep getting called for emproachment every play. I have to move one of my dts off the line.
