Roster editor

I just read on another web site that Flying Finn has cracked the file consigning thing and is now working on the editor itself.

This will be great for those roster nuts who want to change player positions and
fix some of the mistakes like William Green's age.

Re: Roster editor

I've been working on ESPN NFL rosters in my free time now as well, and this would be a wonderful thing if it came to fruition.

One question for you folks that have used the NHL editor - how do you use this? You take a roster save and put it on your PC and then use the editor and save it back to memory card? Thanks for any replies.

Yup. You use action replay to get the file back and forth from the PC, and use the PC editor to make any changes you want. The hockey editor, and from the looks of things the football editor as well, features a global editing tool where you can increase/decrease ratings across the board rather than having to do it on a player by player basis.

The hockey editor is a game saver, and will only make NFL 2k5 even better!

Re: Roster editor

I tested a default ESPN roster with position changes for Finn and it works fine (ie kendall a G, Kleinsasser a TE, etc). Hopefully, his editor will be released soon.
