Could you post the file you made (with the coaches)?
I could start a database of coaches to update them automatically (to start with).

I do have another bug with linemen getting rushing yards that I need to fix too.

Yes all the coaches should be updated in the franchise file posted in my thread.

So, that's all coaches fixed, players with Madden 18 ratings, and the 2017 schedule added? If that's so, then there's the perfect 2107-18 roster until next year.
