2011-2012 Schedule

I have created a working schedule for this year. It is accurate with the exception of a few games that are in conflict because of different bye weeks.

* I believe there are 4-6 games that had to be moved. Nothing can be done about that, as far as I know.

* I have only edited a few times, so I'll be doing that before release, so it is as accurate as it can be (day and night games / differing days, etc.)

* All the teams play the teams they should. When possible, the conflicting games were moved to one of the team's bye weeks to minimize overlap.

* The schedule has been run several seasons through a stable franchise file without any problems at all. If it freezes, it's the roster, not the schedule.

I tested this out on two stable franchise files (JSOU's 2008/9 file and Puja's 2007 file) and there were no problems. I also simmed through a few seasons and had no hang-ups.

When possible, I left the night games as night games and Monday nighters on their respective nights. It is really weeks 3,4, and 10 that made the mess. Depending on what team you play, you may not notice any changes at all. It only affects about six teams and those games are still played, just not on the correct week. Most of the time, I made them an additional Monday night game and split the times for Monday (7:00 and 10:00 instead of one 8:30 game).

Okay, the person who said the schedule was showing up as 2004 and not 2011 was correct. I could explain why, but lets not get into it. Anyway, here is how to load a CORRECT 2011-12 schedule...

1. Download bucs2nine's schedule (NFL2k5 Official.zip) below. It will give you NFL 2K12 OFFICIAL.nfl2k5

2. Download the patch: (2k12 schedule.zip). It will give you 2011scheduleFinal.nfl2k5

3. Unzip them both and extract the schedules

4. Load your franchise in the editor. It will have the 2004 schedule already in it.

5. Click on the schedule tab (above left)

6. Load the "NFL 2K12 OFFICIAL" schedule first. It will change the date to 2011, but give an inaccurate schedule. You need that date.

7. Load the "2011scheduleFinal" next. It will preserve the date, but change the games to the correct schedule (with the small exceptions listed above).

8. Save and transfer back to card. You should now have the 2011-12 schedule.

Please let me know if there is any problem. I wouldn't mess with it too much. The whole schedule thing is quite temperamental.

How does one go about adding the schedule into a 360? Is it the same as the rosters?

That's the most important thing that the teams play the teams they should. Hope roster editors can add this to their franchise files

I'm still trying to figure this all out so bare with me. When you post the schedule file, it is going to be a franchise file with latest rosters? Or is it something you import into the editor? Thanks

Roster makers that create franchise files will be able to put it in their file. It is not a franchise file on its own.

Thanks that's awesome! One question though, when I load the schedule it still says 2004 season even though the games are correct for this year. Last year I had downloaded a franchise file that said 2010 season in game. Am I missing something I have to do or is it not possible anymore? Thanks
