We are gonna have to jump that hurdle when we cross it, but almost undoubtedly we are gonna have to use the maximum CAP and create over some guys.

What do you mean by a code error, what does it do?

Re: ESPN NFL Roster Project

Our particular project is for XBox. But you should submit your file to fossen for ps2 owners if you think it is good.

What we are doing is Xbox, but I'm sure Fossen would post a PS2 file on OS

Re: ESPN NFL Roster Project

Baltimore Raven's complete list of changes needed (including Depth Chart changes, INJURIES REFLECTED):

CUTS
----

HB Dameon Hunter
DT Joe Salave'a
DE Riddick Parker
FS Anthony Mitchell (Traded to JAX)

SIGNINGS
--------

DE Marques Douglas
CB Raymond Walls (From Cleveland)
K Wade Richey

INJURED RESERVE (Release for roster room, or bottom out on depth chart)
---------------
WR Randy Hymes
G Mike Collins
T Tony Pashos
ILB Bernardo Harris

NEED TO BE CREATED
------------------

T Damion Cook - Bethune-Cookman College
#72, 6'6", 324 lbs., 4/16/79 (23), 2 years exp.
Should be rated around 50 Overall, More power than speed, better at pass blocking than run blocking

DT Aubrayo Franklin - Tennessee
#69, 6'1", 307 lbs., 8/27/80 (23), Rookie
His College Description from the Ravens website:
Strong hitter with good foot speed who uses his hands well to shed blockers…Late bloomer who worked his way into the starting lineup as a senior…Came to Tennessee from Itawamba (Miss.) Community College, where he honed his defensive line skills after starring as a LB in high school…Finished his career with 70 tackles (42 solo), 2 sacks and 5 tackles for loss.

ILB Bart Scott - S. Illinois
#57, 6'2", 235 lbs., 8/18/80 (23), 2 years exp.
Rate overall high 50's. Serviceable linebacker at best, will back up Ray Lewis and Edgerton Hartwell with Bernardo Harris sidelined. A special teams stand out with decent speed for a linebacker, but lacking the hitting power to start for an NFL team. Plays OK coverage.

SS Gerome Sapp - Notre Dame
#27, 6'0", 216 lbs., 2/8/81 (22), Rookie
Again, from the Ravens website:
Two-year starter who lined up at FS as a sophomore before finding a home at SS in his junior campaign...An outgoing team leader with solid work habits, and an ability to cover the field…Made 155 tackles (94 solos) with 6 stops behind the line of scrimmage, 3 fumble recoveries and 5 INTs, adding 9 passes defended and 1 forced fumble while playing in 41 games for the Irish.

FS Will Demps - San Diego St.
#47, 5'11", 205 lbs., 11/7/79 (23), 2 years exp.
Rate overall mid to upper 60's. Bricks are common with Will Demps. His hits and his hands are made of them. Power hitter as a safety, but hands are below average for the position. Started 10 of 16 games for the Ravens last year, racking up 64 tackles, 51 of them solos. Decent coverage.

DEPTH CHART CHANGES
-------------------

QB Kyle Boller - #1 QB
QB Chris Redman - #2 QB
FB Ovie Mughelli - #2 FB
WR Ron Johnson - #4 WR
TE Terry Jones - #2 TE
T Ethan Brooks - #3 T
T Damion Cook (created) - #4 T
DT Aubrayo Franklin - #3 DT
DE Marques Douglas - #3 DE
ILB Bart Scott - #3 ILB
CB Raymond Walls - #4 CB
CB Alvin Porter - #5 CB
SS Gerome Sapp - #3 SS
FS Will Demps - #2 FS

KOR - CB Lamont Brightful, RB Chester Taylor
PR - CB Lamont Brightful, RB Chester Taylor

This is pretty much complete. DE Adalius Thomas is actually starting OLB in place of Suggs, and DE Douglas is starting at DE. Also, FS Corey Fuller and CB Gary Baxter has switched positions.

I hope this helps. If you would like me to scout any more teams like this, please let me know. I am a roster geek (I think drewman had my World Series Baseball rosters at one point) and love this idea.

Please add…

To the Boys

#9 Romo, Tony QB 6-2 227 R Eatern Illinios
#46 Bickerstaff, Erik HB 6-0 230 R Wisconsin
#89 Williams, Randal WR 6-3 230 3rd yr New Hamshire
#16 Smith, Zuriel WR 5-11 171 R Hampton

Release Derril Campbell (no picture TE) Pick up Dan Campbell FA
Pick up Jeff Robinson TE
Pick up DiNapoli, Gennaro C

I know there's more...BTW someone posted about a code error when too many created players are made. Are you gonna creatd the max 47 and risk it or create some and edit other players?

For the record, change Zuriel Smith's number to 87 and you not only do you need to cut Darrell Campbell and pick up Dan Campbell, but you need to edit their ratings and reverse them. In other words, Dan Campbell needs to be a 70 and he is like a 58 in the FA list. This is not right. Just give Dan, Darrell's ratings. I'm not sure how they screwed this up, but it was obviously supposed to be the same guy. Both are 6'5", both are in their 5th year, and both are from Texas A&M. Simply cutting one and picking up the other is not the answer...Dan must have Darrell's ratings.
