Question for connoll3

How do you convert Xbox and 360 rosters to PS2? I'm very grateful for all your work, but I would like to learn how to do it myself. In particularr, I'd liek to convert the BBHighlitesGS roste.

Nearly Perfect XBOX-PS2 Conversion Process

1. Download the 'PS2 Save Builder' program (do an internet search for it)
2. Obtain a legit PS2 roster file.
3. Obtain the targeted XBOX file.
4. Open the ZIP file that is the XBOX roster and find the largest file (may a few directories deep) It will be a .DAT file.
5. Copy that file to any location.
6. Open the PS2 file in Save Builder.
7. You will see a BASLUS file. Rename the .DAT file to whatever the name of the BASLUS file is (remove the .dat extension also)
8. Right click and delete the BASLUS file in Save Builder.
9. Paste the new BASLUS (the old .DAT file) into the spot where the previous file was.
10. Save.
11. Open in Finn's editor and hit OK on the error that pops up. If no error message pops up, change something -- anything -- on the file.
12. Save.
13. Load with your flash drive and AR Max on the PS2.

Lemme know if you have any problems...

Thanks connoll3. After some trial and error as to which .dat file to use, I finally found the right one and managed to convert the RateSports NFL2K11 file to PS2. Now to convert it to PAL and try it out!

Re: Question for connol3

UPDATE: When it came to actually getting it on my console, ESPN NFL 2K5 refused to load the roster. The roster is the SAVEGAME.DAT file in the folder C99915DE247F. I downloaded the RateSports file here: http://www.box.net/shared/texd6ma6tg. I didn't get an error when I opened it in Finn's editor. Might that be the problem?

Not sure. After you do the BASLUS swap and load the game up in the editor, make sure you change something on the file and then save it.

Re: Question for connol3

You shouldn't get an error in the editor but you need to change something and save to get a new CRC calculated.

Also, remember the save has to be uncrushed when putting it back on the Memory card. If that doesn't work, maybe the PAL CRC is different and the editor is not compatible with PAL.
