Roster Makers

How are you guys determining some ratings..I know we have limited resources but come on...

Im just gonna say this, remember how the original game was first. the original 2k5 ratings had players speed, agility ratings in the 80's. Exceptionally fast people where 90's and nobody was above 95 IIRC...

Michael Bennets speed rating was 93 and he ran a 4.28 and supposedly 4.13 which was probably hand timed or unofficial. He was also a 100 meter sprinter in college, my point being dont over exaggerate the ratings.

It's called relativity. Roster makers that have people's speed higher than that only have a few, and everybody else is faster than they would've been on the 2k5 base roster also. So as long as they're a good roster maker (which there are plenty), then the relative ratings should be consistent.

Re: Roster Makers

Players progress and degress and don't always have the same speed as they did coming out of college. It could happen with injuries, etc. Donte Stallworth had 99 Speed.

Re: Roster Makers

Has anybody tried using the Madden player ratings to make a roster? Althought they're not perfect they appear to be fairly consistent. They are available online http://maddenultimate.com/ratings/search.php so you don't need to own the game.

Re: Roster Makers

Madden ratings are too high scale and half the players are way overrated, plus if you were to sim a season using Madden's ratings it'd be wack.
