It didn't work for me... my old rosters files show up...but this new one doesn't....

Update #3. This includes transactions up to 5-2-09, 2009 Draft Picks up to pick 15 in round 1, New Defensive fronts for KC and GB (3-4's) as well as a couple minor rating tweaks. I'll try to be quicker on the updates now that the draft is behind us.

Rickster101 chiming in here and its great to see you finally post your latest roster file. I've enjoyed your previous work and had some questions about your 25% solution that kinda threw me off abit and I just could'nt get into it but none the less I enjoyed the rosters and played without needing that particular addtion to my style of play.

The rosters are great and I've enjoyed them all including a few others I've checked out, they're all great and I do appreciate the efforts you guys put into them and thank you personally seeing I don' have alot of time to really get into them as I had sometime ago so thanks for keeping 2k Football alive and well with your creative efforts and making and keeping a great game alive and well.

JSOU check your roster seating and lineups I've come across two teams with 255 error codes using Finns editor, errors read as follows..."List index out of bounds (255)".

The teams are the Lions and Patriots found with these error codes.
I'm not sure what it is excalty...something to do with your player personel lineups and positions as I recall I'm sure Finn would know if you don't already anyway just thought you should know what I came across.

Thanks for the info, all that means is that those teams have the same player starting at more than one position. To fix it just go in game and change that teams depth chart. This happens when a lot of transactions are done. I was up really late trying to get an update out last night. Thanks for the heads up again, I'll take care of it today.

As for the -25% this is done to create a so called new difficulty level. When changing the pass coverage and run coverage by -25% using finns editor before you start a season, it allows the cpu teams to stay strong using large attributes while still keeping your attributes at a level that makes you play well to win a game. We had 8 guys play our 08 season with only 2 making the playoffs. For us, we have to use the -25%, when we didn't we all went 12-4, 13-3, 15-1 and so on, using it allows the game to be very hard, but we all think that's the way a season should be, not demolishing everyone each week, just my two cents though.
That's how the roster file is intened to play. If you don't use the -25% it won't effect when you when playing offense, only when your playing D. Using the -25% really allows the QB to play better as well as making it tough to stop the running game. That along with us using only the playbooks that actually work for the CPU. We took out the ones that never felt as a threat to us when playing D. Hope that helps.
