NFL2K5 Uniform Changes

Is there any kind of program that will allow you to change the colors or details of the uniforms in NFL2K5 for the original Xbox, like getting white helmets for the Chargers or a darker navy blue for the Bears jerseys?

Not unless it's one of the alternates you can choose and even then it must be set by you and cannot become the default uniform.

actually that's apparently no longer true.

in Finn's latest editor, if you look under the team options (where you would change the team's def PB) you will see there is now an option to choose the default jersey from all the available jerseys for a given team. so, assuming this new tool has all the kinks worked out, that one poster who was desperate to set the SD Chargers to powder blue & the 49ers to the 80s jersey can now do so

Wow- that would be great for my roster too. I don't have the latest editor though. Until right now, there was no advantage for me to switch. Guess thats gonna change now.

EDIT: I got the newest editor, changed the unis and it is pretty cool- the older helmets show up in my 1983 franchise in the weekly schedule screen and in the plain roster they are present when scrolling through teams, however the newest unis are still there in Sportscenter replays. Still, closer than what we had before

finn explained that right now only the helmets show in franchise but the reg unis still appear in game

this bug is unique to franchise, however, & the desired uni setting does work fine in roster/exhibition mode

Yeah, I checked it on the newer roster I'm working on (not franchise) and they were there in the selection screen as the default.

his track record is impeccable on cracking similar issues
