Basically what u are saying if I dont do pre-season games in the first year, i can use the salary cap cheat the whole time?

For a while. If you save it enough, eventually it will wear off, but it should last long enough that it won't matter. I purposefully made some of the rookies out of crappy players to help with the cap anyway. You may not know it, but if you take an existing player rated 50 and up his attributes to 90, his salary will still be that of a guy rated 50. I tried to do this with some rookies in case the cap cheat wore off. I have played almost a whole season with my franchise and have not had any problems with the cap on any teams.
