Re: Daflyboys' "REAL NFL SPEED" Rosters

Hello everybody!
I have seen Daflyboys have uploaded a new franchise file so from now on I'll test it.
In my last 3 games of testing in franchise using "REAL NFL SPEED" roster and sliders made by Daflyboys the main problems are:
- too many QB sacks from my defense (against the best CPU defense I have 5/6 sacks every game)
- CPU running game is very poor,I playde agains the best running back of the CPU like Charges and they run only 30 / 40 yards in a complete game.
The most impressive thing is that CPU quarterbacks play great, also the % of compl. both for my QB and CPU QB is always really close to real life %.
Again I'll start to play some games using the new Franchise file and I'll post there my opinions!

Re: Daflyboys' "REAL NFL SPEED" Rosters

I played a game with the Patriots against the Bills and these rosters were very good

Final score

Buffalo 10
New England 20

Here's my stat lines from that game

Passing:
NE: Brady 13/22 250 yards 1 TD 1 INT
BUF: Losman 11/20 126 yards 1 TD 2 INT

Rushing:
NE: Dillon 13 carries 54 yards
NE: Maroney 12 carries 33 yards
BUF: McGahee 10 carries 34 yards

Receiving:
NE: Brown 2 Rec 62 yards 1 TD
NE: Caldwell 5 Rec 60 yards
BUF: Parrish 3 rec 14 yards 1 TD
BUF: Price 4 Rec 48 yards

We were playing in the rain but that didn't change my playing style much, I was always run first, pass later. lol

Also I was playing with 8 minute quarters. Don't know if that's the typical thing but I think bumping it up to 9 minutes might work.

Ya, I'm debating between 8 and 9 minutes myself. With 2K4, it was easy ... 10 min. periods was perfect as it produced the average number of real NFL plays just about every game since the cpu QB would take more time at the line of scrim.

2 INT's for Losman..... and only 1 for Brady. Looks realistic! Were any of those the tip variety or were they flat out pick offs?

They were straight up pick offs.

Anyhow just played my 2nd game of the season against the Jets and blew them away. Don't have the stats totally.

I think Brady went 17/19 241 Yards and 3 TD
Pennington did horrible throwing 5 picks in the game. It was pretty lousy and lopsided.

Are you switching up guys on defense? I mean, are the picks manual picks?

I haven't been switching up guys. I usually either play D-Line or LB. Really depends on the play. If I'm blitzing I'm usually the blitzer.
