Default uniforms

Is there a way to have the default unis be the ones they wear in game? What I mean is, I select say an 80's era uniform for default in the editor and this is what is shown in the week matchups and what not, but when I play the game it uses the current uniforms. I thought when you select what you want for the default uni in the editor they would wear that by default in game.

Unfortunately in the franchise mode on the weekly mathchups screen even though the default uniforms are as they were set in Finn's Editor, the current uniforms show up when you play a game. You can manually change the uniforms to what era you want before you start the game. I do that myself quite often even if I let the computer control both teams.
Even on the roster file when you play a quick game with an 80's roster the two teams that are matched up at first display their current uniforms until you start switching teams and matchups. Then the default uniforms that were set appear.

The Cowboys navy blue jerseys must be glitched in my game, because when I try to pick it, I get an ugly greyish-white one instead. The only time I can wear navy blue is when I face the Redskins, it grinds my gears.

The only blue uniform for them i got to work at home was the 2002 Alternate 1. My only explanation is that their uniforms are reversed in that they wear white at home and blue away only when home team is white. I believe they wear blue for Thanksgiving games too. I guess that has the game all screwy with their unis. I never noticed cuz i usually wear white jerseys at home anyways.

I noticed the other day the Cowboys sport their blue uniforms when they play on the road at the Tennesee Titans.
