Draft Help (edits, scouting, etc)

So I'm back into 2K5 again and I'm using the 2K11 roster file from the nfl2k5roster.com website to replicate the modern NFL. I was wondering if people here could give me some tips or answer some questions regarding the draft.

1) Does anyone have some good tips for Scouting and Drafting?
Currently, it seems like a shot in the dark, even when it comes time to draft. While 2K5 does replicate what a real draft would be like - scouting, going on metrics & a wing'n'a'prayer, I feel it is too broad. I'm constantly making horrid picks, even when they're high on the Big Board or on Kiper's Mock List. I'm starting to think the best route to go is give each player 1 point each round giving me 9 players to scout then filtering them out. I'm not trying to constantly hit on picks, but at the same time, I don't want most of my guys as busts.

2) Is there a better way of editing in-Draft rookies?
Right now, I'm simply going to the Big Board and editing rookies individually which we all know is super tedious! My biggest problem is mainly guys having mismatched equipment, ie: one black shoe & one white, two different colored gloves, one glove, etc weird minor stuff that drives me crazy.

2a) Is there a way to use any of Finn's roster editing software to create/edit Draft classes?

2b) Is there a way to import or download Draft classes?

2c) Is there a way to edit cyber-faces or add additional equipment to players, ie: forearm high wrist band/elbow pad.

I am slowly working my way, using Finns GREAT editor thru the 2011 draft class. I am 2 weeks into my franchise (fantasy draft rosters). You can use the editor to edit draft classes, cyberfaces, equipment etc. I have completed QBs, RB/FB, WR, TE, C, G and OT. On to the defense. Only thing that stinks is the computer generated a ton of punters and kickers in the draft class. With a little extra work you can turn most of them into position players.

Wait, so how are you editing draft classes with Finn's editor. And which editor are you using? I don't think I recall seeing anything in the editor that would lead you to be able to do that.

You are talking about nfl2k5, correct? Here is an example. Dont conisder the ratings accurate, as I said, I have a long way to go but it IS possible using Finns editor. (v 4)

You can change shoes, face masks, helmet style, gloves, elbow pads, wrist bands/ wraps etc also.

nfl2k5rosters.com has reference material posted as far as what these items look like in the game itself
