Editing Players and Uniforms

Hi,

I just started playing 2K5 again after a couple years away, I'm playing in Franchise mode, and I recall that there was a way to edit a current team's uniform. However, I can't find this option anymore. Where should I be looking? Also, in Franchise mode, is there a way to edit players currently on your roster, without having to wait until the next draft and editing rookies? I know you can do this outside of Franchise mode, but I can't find a way to do it while in this mode. And finally (promise!), I created a player, but then I can't find him in the free agent pool. Where did he go? When and if I find him, can I add him to my team in Franchise mode?

To edit a teams uniform you will need a T-9 energy converter with TrekStar software. You can design your own uniform the way you like it, make the current uniforms in the NFL - etc.

That is kind of a bummer that there are no ways to edit uniforms. As odd as it sounds, it does kind of bum me to see the old Chargers and Vikings uniforms ... I imagine that one of these days, some one will create a program to take the game, open up/mod the files on your computer, burn it back to the disc and viola! -- instant upgrade.

For now though, I'm OK playing 2k5. So much better than Madden 09.

You can change the uniform to past years and whatnot on the controller select screen by using the balck and white buttons.
